The September 19th Terminal Branch notice has been modified to allow shift trading among first line supervisors with the proviso that first line supervisors will rotate onto day shift for at least two months each year. October 31. 1975 UllA. TOP TIMES Page 5 coordination and communications between the terminal manager and the first line supervisors will be possible. red, white and blue pedestrian crosswalks are very and patriotic during the day, but at 7 a.m. they are almost impossible to see. For safety sake, I suggest that they be repainted white. QThe A This added provision is necessary so that each first line supervisor has an opportunity to work closely with top level management once each six months on operational procedures. This compromies will allow all personnel the opportunity to trade shifts to accomodate personnel with personal reasons such as school attendance, baby sitters, and other commitments. At the same time closer Thank you for your inquiry. The only change has been to add the red and blue stripes between the existing reflective white stripes which neither increases nor decreases the night visiblity. The red, white and blue stripes actually reflect sunlight and are more easily seen during the day. Info On Morale, Welfare, Recreation, Dial 2004 kkkickizkkkkiKkkitkkkkickk kkkkkkkk Lb Lr4 EDMUND A. KAFALKO Major General. USAF Commander Q A Q E i, don't agree with the item that was printed in the Hill Top Times People Line on September 12th about directing traffic out. the South Gate atquitting time. I think the Security Police do a fabulous job of directing traffic at that time. We people who are parked in Lot 50 would never get out of the gate if it weren't for the Security Police directing traffic. I agree that the traffic has been backed up these past few months but probably because of other streets being closed for repair. I would like to ask why the area directly west of Building 505 cannot be used for parking. We who work in Buildings 511 and 510 would certainly like a little more consideration. I would have to be at work by 6 a.m. in order to park any closer to my work area. True, there is construction going on, but with a little cooperation with the contractors, I'm sure we could have better arrangementsmade for the employees who have to walk from that area. I (Tonight Friday October 31 VIRGINIA) UTAH STARS ROSTER Name Ron Boone Randy Denton Jim Eakins Ken Gardner No. 24 32 25 14 Your compliments are greatly appreciated and the Security Police Division will endeavor to continue earning this type of support. The reason for no parking directly west of Building 505 is that chemical particles from the smoke stacks of that building could cause damage to privately owned vehicles parked on the west side. Environmental Engineers recommended we prohibit parking in this area due to the damage potential. Therefore, the Traffic Safety Council decided to install the curbing and discontinue parking.
