Show October 3, V - J h i " ' i- - The first emtio of 27 20. 0ct.20 New Housing Units Ready By The first group of 270 new housing units at Hill AFB is expected to be ready for occupancy by Oct. 20. Landscaping and grass are now underway and if the weather holds, lawns should get a good start seeding before winter. Everything about the units and yards is neat and cheerful. The houses feature carports and storage areas with a blending of brick and frame exterior. The kitchens are colorful, planned to save the housewife and include steps dishwashers. Large walk-i- n closets and additional storage space are found in the units, as well as central, refrigerated and airconditioning humidifier units to provide that extra degree of comfort. All dwellings except the units feature two two-bedroo- baths, one off the master bedroom. that nearly all units will be filled. units The feature private balconys, two-bedroo- m accessible from living room and dining room through double sets of sliding glass doors. extra room is provided which will fit each family's needs for either a dining room An or family room. Most units feature a useable patio area, screened for privacy. Until the units are ready for inspection, all military personnel should feel free to visit the Housing Management Office, Bldg. 180, room 100 to inspect the floor plans and photographs. Applications on file indicate 13 New PCS arrivals assure more applications. For all military personnel wishing to occupy one of these outstanding new houses, be should applications submitted to the Housing Management Office as early as possible. Many families will be moving from Area C, Wherry, to the new houses. This may create vacancies that will be available to airmen (E-- l, E-E-- 3 with less than and E-two year's service.
