Show Happenings on the Hill MAINTENANCE MATTERS Welcome wishes are extended by the Industrial Engineering Division to in the ALS the following new employees: Ruth Ann Bushell, clerk-typiSection of the Special Projects Branch; and Marie Brown, steno, in the Aerospace Engineering Branch. Max Andersen, Plant Services, Maintenance, has received the Silver Beaver Award in scouting at a recognition dinner held recently. This award was one of 10 presented by the Lake Bonneville Council and is the a highest award which can be presented by a council. Mr. Andersen has total of 20 years of scouting service. st 46 The coordinators at Hill AFB and Chapel workers deserve to be congratulated for the results of their program for needy families. Don E. Burkholder, (right) deputy director FAITHFUL SERVICE and Plans Programs directorate, receives a Certificate of Service from Col. Jay Bachman, director of Plans and Programs. Mr. Burkholder was cited for 30 years of federal service. His wife, Janet, was present at the ceremony. Mr. Burkholder began his government n career as an engineer at AFB, Dayton, Ohio, h two 1940. tours He in the Air Force as an aircraft served November maintenance officer in Germany during World War II and was recalled during Korea for service with 6 aircraft at Fort Worth. Texas. Prior to his arrival at Hill AFB in December, 1953, he served the Programs Office at AFLC. He attended the Industrial College the Armed Forces in 1958.
