Site of the meet is the base horseshoe pits east of the base gym. Trophies will be awarded to first place in the singles and 4 - doubles competition. Merchandise prizes will be awarded to the first three places. This will be an open shoot with total score determined on a handicap basis from three targets taken at random. Hunting tackle with legal hunting broadheads will be required. Registration will be from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the fee will be $1 per person. The standing deer targets will be set up on the archery range but will be located away from the present target course. The range is located on the Perimeter Road beyond the northeast corner of the airstrip. Directional signs will be installed. All bow hunters should plan to attend in order to improve their aim and get their equipment in shape for the archery deer season set to open Aug. 29.
