The ment, who is also a lieutenant workshop is defive-da- y signed to acquaint the educators and scouts with current aerospace knowledge and skills and the impact of air and space vehicles on society. Helping with the workshop will be three civilian employees at Hill AFB who are also Air Force reserve officers. They are Glen J. Wright, equipment specialist in Equipment Management Office, Distribution, who is a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserve; Richard W. Keari, a contract negotiator in Procure Stress colonel; and Dee R. Geddes, position classification specialist in Civilian Personnel, an Air Force Reserve major. Workshop activities will include orientation flights, resource lectures, and the making and fixing of a model rocket by each participant. The sessions will be conducted by several guest lecturers and authorities from varied technical backgrounds in the field of aeronautics and space. Scouts will have an opportunity to earn merit badges in self-pacin- aviation, space exploration and weather. Mr. Wright will serve as a pilot for orientation flights for the participants. Mr. Keari and Mr. Geddes will assist with weather studies. In addition, Mr. Geddes is also handling publicity for the event. The three men will be on active duty for 10 days.
