Wise, Ogden AMA vice commander, receives a special citation from Charles J. Moxley, Clearfield Job Corps Center director. The award was in appreciation for training provided by Hill AFB to men at'the Job Corps Center. Also attending the ceremony were Robert Reed, (second from right) training officer at the Job Corps; and Richard Orrock, from Ogden AMA Civilian An award of appreciation for two years of cooperation in training the vocationally deprived young men has .been presented to Hill AFB by the Clearfield Job Corps Center. Charles J. Moxley, center director and general manager, presented the award to Brig. Gen. J. C. Wise, Ogden Air Materiel Area vice commander, at Hill AFB. In presenting the award, Moxley said, "Many of our young men would not have had the valuable assistance of the highly trained personnel, both military and civilian, available at the base without cooperation between these two agencies." Nacey Kent, Sr., was . present at his son's citation. 28th MAS Deactivated; Air Force Cross Awarded The 28th Military Airlift Squadron was officially deactivated at Hill AFB in ceremonies last week that highlighted the presentation of the Air Force Cross to one of its personnel. Maj. Gen. J. C. Sherrill, commander of the 22nd Air Force, presented the Air Force's second highest award to Sgt. Nacey Kent Jr., for "extraordinary heroism" while he was an AC-4- 7 flight engineer in Vietnam. The squadron guidon was encased and presented to Col. John H. Germeraad, commander of the 62nd Military Airlift Wing by Col. Hugh L. Baynes, 28th MAS commander.
