She is lovely Linda Cowperthwaite, Civilian Personnel. Miss Zero Defects Contest Seeks Girls to Wear Crown Would you like to wear the crown of "Miss Zero Defects" for the Ogden Air Materiel Area? The lucky lady that does is in line for a lot of attention as well as valuable gifts. Ogden AMA's Zero Defects Council announced the ZD Queen contest today. It is open to single girls ranging from age 18 up to and including 30. The winner will be crowned "Miss Zero Defects," reign for a year, and officiate at a number of events at the base tied in with the ZD program. The council also listed other requirements : temporary em ployees are not eligible; selection will be made on beauty and personality, and any number of contestants can enter. An elimination contest will be held at the Hillair Recreation Center on June 23 from which 10 finalists will be picked. The finals will be held at the center on June 30 and a queen crowned and two attendants selected. Prizes and awards will be announced later. Names should be submitted by filling out the application blank on page 42. Applications must be in the inter- - the Materiel Management Contractor Data Management Program. Hugh E. Witt, deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for installations and logistics; and Col. Albert L. Guidera and Dr. J. L. Krieger, directorate of production and programming at Air Force headquarters, came to Hill to have a look at the program. Their aircraft touched down at Hill AFB at 11:30 a.m. and the visitors were met by Col. A. A. Riemondy, Materiel Management director. Following lunch the dignitaries were briefed by Ned L. Frisby, Ogden AMA data management officer on the complete program. The briefing included the overall management funcsystem, organization, manand future tions, present ning, cost reduction activity, problem areas and recommendations on improvements to the program. A standardized Department of Defense data program was and additional recommended data pricing procedures were favorably considered. Due to the importance being placed on the data management program, Materiel Management officials urged Ogden AMA's management, staff and journeyman personnel to utilize the Contractor Data Management Program to the maximum.
