Reason for the action is to prevent loss of cash for accrued leave and travel pay to the airmen who could fall into this .ategory. A recent Comptroller General's ruling stated that men who ;nter an extension and then deride to reenlist before the extension is up are not eligible to cash payment for accrued leave and travel pay. Positive action is required to insure that eligible airmen who extend their enlistments are given the opportunity to reenlist on original date of service, the Air Force said. sot "fcT j re-ei- Col.
