Excess of Income over Expenses Major Leslie F. Garrett of the 801st Operation Squadron, Lock- bourne AFB, Ohio. After maintenance was comple ted, Major Garrett asked Bruce L. Standard, inspector standing by at the time, for a pair of pliers for use during pre flight. During refueling and servicing the pliers found its way into the map case of the aircraft and was forgotten by inspector and pilot. Arriving at his home base;, the pilot discovered the pliers. The major penned an airmail letter to Mr. Standard telling him that the tool would be returned. A week later the Hill inspector received his pliers, wrapped up nice and neat. Mr. Standard said the tool cost approximately 50 cents. Cost of mailing and handling came to 75 cents. Officers of the club, besides James, are Peggy Caperton, Secretary, and Calvin, Vos, treasurer. The club holds a monthly business meeting and three social activies a month. Some of the past activities were a Christmas dance, horseback riding, and swimming. Future doings planned are dances, picnics and swimming. Chaplain J. P. Whitt is the present club sponsor. Also, one or two parents are invited to attend every social activity to act as chap- erones.
