Colonel P. D. Fellows, assistant for Programming, welcomed visitors and cited difficulties which had been overcome m connection with the 9 aircraft program up to the present time. He also expressed a hope that the conference would result in the achievement of the weapons system desired. Following Colonel Fellows ad dress, Colonel M. J. Coffield. Di rector of Maintenance Engineerinff outimea UUAMA s mission and organization and invited conferees to bring their problems to Ogden's attention, promising the aid of OOAMA to the fullest extent pos sible m solving these problems. The conference, convened in the Hq OOAMA Control Room last Monday with Major J. R. Lindgren, Chief, Maintenance Engineering Services Division, presiding as Chairman, and wound up yester day. It was attended by representa tives of Hq AMC, Warner-Robin- s and Okahoma City Air Materie Areas, Northeast- Air Command, Eastern Air Defense Forces, Air Training Command, Alaskan Air Command. Wright Air Develop' ment Center, Western Air Defense Forces. Air Defense Command, Central Air Defense Force. Air National Guard.
