Gp. won the outstanding athlete honors for the month of November. Ray is 20, single, and nails trom Koanoke, Virginia. Williams attended Jefferson High School in Roanoke where he starred on the basketball and base ball teams. He had a chance for several college scholarships but turned them down to enter the United States Air Force, Kay entered the Air x orce in May of 1952 at Sampson Air Force Base where he took his basic training. Upon the completion of uaslc, he was sent to Fort Francis E. Warren, Wyoming, for school ing.. In June of 1953 he transfer red to Hill Air Force Base for more schooling, Williams won the title of outstanding athlete over three other candidates. He has been active in athletics since he came to Hill. At the present time he is a member of the Hill Hornet Basketball team.
