Show March 28, HILL TOP TIMES Page 4 Hill Kogler, Tops in 1952 Welterweight Wallop Dowling Singles At State Tourney with Oda, the Majorie kegler feminine bowling league at Hill AFB, entered the State bowling 3 tournament on March and came out with first place honors for high singles. Her games were 563 scratch and 629 with handicap. Marjorie will attempt to keep up her standing as the tournament continues this weekend. Mtrjorie and Lillie Nakahara, another Hill bowler, are now in third place for doubles handicap at the State tournament with a score of pin 77. Renee Russell, publicity manager for the Hill woman's league, reports that through various circumstances they have lost several of their members but have also welcomed some newcomers. Lillian Gordinier, who has been bowling with the Hill team since its organization is leaving to accompany her husband to Spokane. Ruby Way, Jackie Bain and Betty Morris have given up bowling temporarily for medical reasons. Newcomers are Naomi Jacobsen, Theda Healy and Beverly Barvero.
