Show Bushnell Patients Entertained Vivid Story Told on Air Show At World-Wide- I I Communion ; 'None but Purple $ T, til t:'A Heart' Rated Hit by Listeners I: OASC IS ON THE AIR r n v it ". ' tut f SAT. ORCH. SAT. PURPLE HEART. The storv of a di trap set by the Nazis at the Anzio beachhead was dramatically narrated last Saturday night on the second broadcast of "None But the Purple Heart," OASC's newest radio show. Guest of the evening was Pfc. Herbert Tomlinson of Mt. Pleasant, Utah, formerly an infantry man in Italy and now stationed at Bushnell General Hospital, Brig ham City, Utah. Telling one of the strangest and n stories of the war, Pfc. Tomlinson's tale was the story of "Bloody Sunday," the day 'that 400 Americans walked into a clever trap set by the Germans. As part of the program, the town of Mt. Pleasant, Utah, was designated r as a "Distinguished Service City," and a telegram from Mayor Gunderson arrived thanking "None But the Purple Heart" and pledging the city to even greater effort. Music for the show was by. the "Keep 'Em Flying" orchestra under Tech. Sgt. Ed Stoker and vocal specialties were handled by the four Hill Field Cadets, Cpl. Dick Schebe and Van Leslie. The entire production was under the direction of Lt Paul Lang- ford, OASC radio officer, with the script by Pfc. Dan Reichenthal of the Special Information office. Guest for this Saturday night's show will be Sgt.
