Under a Congressional act there are authorized awards which are no less than $5 and not more than so-call- ed $250., Limitations The act authorizing these cash awards limits them, however, to ideas resulting in "improvement or economy of manufacturing proc esses or plant or military material, or for suggestions resulting in el f iciency or economy in operation or administration of the war depart V .... . The group will gather at the corner of 7th East and 9th South from where they will proceed to the picnic grounds. Under the direction of Miss Viva Oidroyd of the Welfare Unit, Civil- ian Personnel, the group will en joy many games, eat juicy red watermelon and search for a hid den treasure. The climax of the evening will be a boat ride on the Liberty Park lake. Last Wednesday the Jills en joyed a lunch at the USO after which they traveled to the Wa satch Plunge for a swim.
