Library Opening Is Delayed Week in Weber Seven Months Record Safety Alterations Take Longer Time For Reading Unit The Post Recreational library encountered a slight delay in oc cupancy of the building in the barracks area, owing to the extensive building program confronting Post Utilities. It was intended that the building should be ready for occupancy en July 1. However it now appears that it will take another week to complete the alterations. According to Miss Ruth Jones, the supervisor, the $7,000 fund allotted to Hill Field for library activities was available on July 1, and immediate action would then be taken to equip the library with the 2500 books from the basic list selected. An annual allotment will be made to the library from the Ninth Service Command, which will Insure an adequate supply of good books and current literature at all times. For the present Miss Jones will supervise both the Post Recreational Library and the Technical ' Library under the supervision of ' the Training Department or until the appointment of a Supervisor for each library is warranted. . i l n.ni.it X Captain Baros Initiates Engineer Classes Under Simulated Battle Difficulties in New Blitz Hangar lost-tim- USO Celebrates Independence Day .
