However, before the actual delivery operations will be resumed complete organization must be effected. There will be no loss of interest sustained by any delay as bonds will be dated as of the month in which payment therefor was completed and will accrue interest from the first day of the month. The function of the war bond office in Chicago pertains only to the class "A" reservation plan for deductions from the pay of military personnel prior to April 1, 1943, and for civilian employes prior to Jan. 1, 1943. Class "B" allotments for military personnel and civilian person nel subsequent to the above dates are . operated by the Army War Bond Office, and bonds will be sued by the local U. S. Army Fi nance officer, Kiesel building, Og Bond NOT AN ACCIDENT . . . Post Schools won the Ogden Air Depot Safety Trophy for the month of May by not having an employe miss single day's work because of an accident. This perfect record may be tied, but it can never be beaten. Up to date, the perfect record is continuing. Above, left to right, Captain Baumgartner of Post Schools; C. B. Gauflin, acting trainee administrator; and Alfred E. Startford, safety training supervisor, receive the monthly award from Captain Af flick, OASC safety officer. in all shops. The classes are conducted around the various ma chines, work benches, and equip ment. Here the trainees are taught the proper use of hand tools, proper operation of machinery, and the hazards that they must look for while doing their jobs. This method is securing results, and the proper safety habits are being developed. Schools' record, including an av erage frequency rate for March and April of 12.88, is a definite chal lenge to the other divisions on the field. The personnel at the school are relatively inexperienced and new to their positions, therefore more susceptible to accidents. According to the Safety branch, if Post schools with its inexperienced personnel can accomplish such a record, it should be relatively simple for the more experienced personnel in the other divisions. - Saturday evening.
