The class members will visit var ious points of interest in Salt Lake City, leaving Nephi at 8 ajn. Places to be visited include the Purity Biscuit Company, the Fed! eral Reserve Bank, the Salt Lake Police Department. After the educational portion of the day the class members will have free time until evening when they will at' tend a stage play "The Tiger at the Gate" on the University of Utah campus. Help came from so many sources they can't be enumerated. We will always remember the kindness and the thoughtfulness of our many rela tives and friends. We are especial' national legislative bodies and other matters that all citizens should be concerned with. Many things that make up good communities were mentioned and discussed in oofparison with our own cornmunity and what we have in Nephi Chat is commendable, and improvements that are needed. Some needs mentioned were: A camunily club house; a welcom ing committee for new corners; more cultural development and some form of civil defense. At the conclusion of Mrs. Bellis ton's discussion a short play, illustrat ing the need for organizing civil defense was present. Those taking part were Mrs. John Cotton, Mrs. Frank Greenhalgh and Mrs. Don Eyre. Business matters discussed were projects to 'be considered for the Community Achievement program. Committees were appointed to in vestigate different suggestions and to report at the next meeting. Members present were Mrs. A. L. Garbett, Mrs. J. W. Berwick, u M ly grateful for the help given by the First Ward Elders Quorum on the farm this summer. The many visits and expressions of concern have touched us deeply. James M.
