Show J Page THE Two Family Reunion Held Again Be Glorious Recently in Canyon When a SALT LAKE CITY new edition of an old favorite like "Holiday on Ice" comes into a city, it must combine the old with the new as tar as the skaters Old themselves are concerned. favorites must remain, but new faces must also be given a chance to shine with the new revue. So, 1956 finds people like Kay and Arnold Shoda skating more beautifully than ever, while new comers Bert Chapek, Rafflo-e- r and Mapes, Buddy Murray and Jeanne Sook arrive to liven the scene anew. Let's take Jeanne Sook and Ted Roman, for example. Well known of throughout the country as one on the most original adagio teams ice, these two artists bring to the 1956 "Holiday" two entirely new routines with thrills and spins following each other in dizzy succession. On the comedy side, European ice comics Buddy and Brady and Bert Chapek the ruibber-legge- d add to the laughs of Flip and Flop in a total of five great comedy numbers. Buddy Murray provides jumping thrills and apes and Raf-flopresent perfection in team skating. Petite Jeanne Chealde returns this year with two new numbers calculated to demonstrate the skill of this 4'-dynamo of the Ice. Arnold Shoda interprets the throbbing music of Ravel's "Bolero" and skates a show-stoppipair with lovely Kay Servatius. After last years success with "Storybook illage" it's only natural that the producers of "Hol iday on Ice' wanted to do another animal number for the kids in the audiences of America's favorite ice show. The result was "Noah's Ark" with more fun, more lilting tunes ' and gorgeously-costume- d animals than ever. In addition, the show will present six other production spectacles. Coming to the Utah State, Fair Salt Lake City, on September 16 and remaining at the Coliseum for ten days, this is the 11th anniversary of this beautiful show.
