Through her frozen foods project, she brought about a considerable savings in food costs by utilizing foodstuff raised at home. A member of the Yum Yum club for six years, Eleanor has taken up the Frozen Foods Project each year and given six demonstrations, winning a gold medal at the state fair. Her record shows a total of 97 dozen rolls, 290 loaves of bread, 2,837 lbs. of frozen meat, vegetables and fruits, 269 quarts of the same, and 175 dozen baked items. Health Achievement in the Improvement program by Wanda Peacock, 16, of Price, has brought her statewide recognition and a trip to the Congress as guest of the Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich. In 1952, when the Woods built a new home, Larry began a home beautifieation project. He hauled several loads oi dirt and leveled it with a tractor and grader so that grass could be planted in June. He cared for the lawn and planted shrubs, trees and flowers and put in walks and a driveway. In 1953, they planted 10 mors trees, 23 shrubs, annuals and a strip of lawn at the rear of ths house. They intend to build a fireplace, lily pool nd sheltered patio with lawn furniture and a play area. Mrs. Charles R.
