A m 'T, S BILL COOPER Gains Promotion Wiliam Cooper, who operated a "CaterDillar Tractor and tsull dozer when ground was broken for construction of the pJant in 1946, recently was promoted to Master Mechanic, succeeding ueo, Boskovich, who resigned. A few months later he was transferred to the Maintenance Department as a mechanic because of his experience in this field. lie previously had worked on con struction of the Geneva Steel plant and then later worked there In central maintenance before com in? to Thermoid. Within a short time after he became a Thermoid mechanic. He was made a group leader and then worked his way up to Foreman. He held this position for four years before becoming Master Mechanic. A native of Nephi, Bill is married to the former Una Jackman and they have two daughters. His favorite sport is riding, and he was one of the original group who organized the Nephi Riding Club. He has been a member of the Nephi Volunteer Fire Department for 17 years, and last year was a Captain.
