Day School for students of the Juab East school district, comprising Juab county, will open on Tuesday morning, September 5th, according to an announcement today by C. Ray Evans, Superintendent of the District. Workshop for teachers will be held August 28 to September 1, Mr. Evans said, and will feature outstanding educational leaders of the state in discussins of the various phases of teaching responsibilities. According to the calendar as set up for this year, Thanksgiving vacation will be November 23 and 24, and Christmas vacation will be December 23 to January 2. The calandar gives May 18 as the closing date next spring. The following is the list of Juab District teachers, as released by Supt. Evans: Mona school: Ray Newton, principal, seventh and eighth grades, Verda R, Oliver, 4, 5 and 6 grades. Elena H. Stanley, 1, 2 and 3 grad- Levan school: M.
