President Mary Jensen conducted the business portion of the meet ing. Litany was read by Mrs. j. A review of the E. Andrews. book "The Gay Saint" by Paul Bailey was given by Mrs. W. Lee Bailey. The program committee, consisting of Mrs. Fred Gadd, Mrs. Cleon Memmott and Mrs. Carl Wilkey presented the new programs to the members. The ttieme for this new season is "Utah, Land of Sunshiine. Tradition and Cul ture. The year is to be spent in studvine about Utah authors, ar tists, musicians and history. We are anticipating a very interesting and informative season. Foote. president presided and gave the address or welcome to ciUD members, ana outlined the Drojects for the coming year. Lee Reid won the nrlzs for having the most unique costume. Florence Johnson was elected secretary replacing Mrs. Ted Orrock who has moved out of town. After a business session, games were played, with Bernice Archibald and Donna Mockli winning prizes.
