They recently moved to Ne' phi. Mrs. Christiansen also was graduated from the B Y U with a majorin music, and has helped very much in service to the school, church and community. It is the desire of Mr. Christiansen that complete new registration day be held and a complete new schedule be drawn up of music activities and instruction. This day will be Monday, July 11, from 1:00 to 5:00 p. m. at the Juab h'.gh school music room. Brown, a pioneer resident of Nephi, will observe her 90th birthday anniversary on July 15th. She was born inside the old fort wall on July 15, 1589, a daughter of Thomas and Eliza Osborn Knowles. With the except ion of the past few years when she has spent the winter months with members of her family in Arizona and California, she has resided in Nephi all her life. Members of Mrs. Brown's fam ily will be in Nephv for her birthday when open house will be held at her home on Friday, July 15th from 3 until 7 p. m. Friends are cordially invited to call. Mrs. Brown was married to Daniel K. Brown on March 7, 1880, the ceremony being performed by Apostle George Teasdale. The couple were later married in the Endowment bouse in Salt Mr. Brown died on Lake City. September 27, 1905. Prior tcj his death he had performed two mis sions for the L D S church J; one to Denmark and one to Norway. A "devout member-othe L D. S. church, Mrs. Brown has held many responsible positions. In the church Relief Society she was a counselor to two presidents and was a ward secretary for many years. In addition, Mr. Nielsen will be accompanied by his daughter, Miss Nelsen, who is an outtanding vo- calit, and by Alma Peterson, a member of the South Stanpete high council.
