Donates Funeral Held Car for Driver Training Thursday For Progam at Juab High School Mrs. Morris For the first time in the history a program to train students to drive a car is being added to the curriculum. The program is iride possible by-i- he cooperation of superintendent C Ray Evans of Juab School dist rict, Principal C. H. Pay of Juab high school, the American Auto mobile Association and Rex Wrrth lin, local Chevrolet dealer. The program consists of at least 36- - hours work and 32 hours inside the car training, eight hours of which must be spent in actual driving the car. Twenty five students of the 10th grade are now taking the course un der the direcUon of Theron Sny der o the high school faculty. The program is possible through the donation of a dual controlled car by Nebo Chevrolet Company. Mr. Wirthlin has gone to consider able time and expense to obtain the new car and is placing all of the necessary equipment and acfor the safety cessories needed and comfort of the students. The new Chevrolet is one of 1635 cars assiened this year to schools in the United States, 1418 being Chev- of Juab high school, Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Nephi Third Ward chapot for Mrs. Clara Elvira" Garrison Morris, wife of Cecil Morris of this city. Mrs. Morris died at a Salt Lake hospit al Sunday morning following a lingering illness. Mrs. Morris was born April 9, 1892 at Pioche, Nevada, a daughter of Isaac and Phoebe Craw Garrison. 4 She . was .married to Cecil Morris at Pioche September 20, aail, and had resided In Ne phi for the past 26 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. Surviving are her husband, Cecil Morris of Nephl, three sons, Cecil A Morris of San Bruno, California, Allen G. Morris of Fountain Green and Earl Morris of Nephi, and four grandchildren.
