The public is cordially invited to attend Boys' State Nephi Boys To Attend Four boys from Nephi will have an opportunity to participate in the American Legion "Boys State" as guests of Nephi Post No. 1 of the American Legion. Four additional boys will be entitled to go, providing sponsors can be obtained. The Legion post has budgeted $100.00 for the sponsorship of four ycuths, and an additional $100.00 ;s needed to send the other four boys. Boys 16 to 19 years of age are eligible to attend the enmp, according to Roy McPherson chairman of the Boys State committee of the local Legion post. It makes noo distinction in levels of society. It is a great civic dep, velopment p, laboratory. We know no one wants to see dirty, unsanitary conditions. Everyone wants a cleaner, healthier community in which to live. This is no more than personal pride. It is basic training and democracy. Here is the opportunity to work together towards a commo ngoal. There is no other program in which the citizens of Nephi could participate that will bring greater personal returns and community improvement for the amount of energy expended, as the clean up paint up and fix up program. The committee in charge of the campaign this year "ask. the cooperation of everyone in making this a big success. The official weeks set aside for this campaign are April 14 to the 26th. This does not mean however that work should not start before or continue after, but that concentrated ef forts will be made during this period. Several contests will be con ducted to stimulate interest in activity in this .campaign.
