Cliff A, Anderson of Fountain Green, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Anderson, has recently been awarded his discharge after four years and eight months of duty in the U. S. Army. Fifteen months of this time was spent in combai service with the 3rd and 9th armies. He was in action in France, Luxemborg, Belgium and Germany and was injured in Putzlohn, Germany February 18, 1945 and after two months of hospitalization in Englaad returned to Germany.
