H. Manderfield of the North Salt Lake Stock yards and chairman of the 1940 show, said in announcing the coming event. This annual show is open only to Future Farmers of America and Club members, said Mr. Manderfield. It is sponsored by the Salt Laka ciiamber of commerce and the county commissions of Salt Lake and Davis counties and will offer premiums of more than two Snecial prizes thousand dollars. totaling upwards of $500 will be added to the list. A complete record must be kept by each producer as to the gains made and the feed costs. These records must be submitted at the time of the animals entry to the show. All cattle must be purchased by January 1, 1940. Mr. Manderfield announced a new feature of the show when he told that prizes would be given to stock breeders for the best animals.
