Traffic 1924 Ford 2 ton 1-- The Lees Ferry bridge across the Marble canyon section of the tltantlc chasm of the Colorado river is now open to traffic and many travellers are taking advantage of this great north and south highway cut-of- f. The approaches to the bridge are being put in fine shape by the Arizona highway commission and plans are on foot for early Improvement the road that leads from Kanab to the bridge. This road is in passable condition at the present time and is used daily by freight trucks and passenger cars. For about fif teen miles across the Kaibab plateau mud is encountered but this stretch Is drying rapidly. From Kanab to the bridge, a distance of ninety miles, can be easily driven in from four to five hours.
