Due to the fact that there is no snow on the mountains, the animals are harder to get. Carl Bowles and Miio Bracken came iu with one from the Oak Creek mountains; Clyde Shaw, Louis Gardner and Ku-sHawkins brought in two. these being from down in the Gunnison country. Jay Anderson got one iu the mountains east of Nephi. s three thousand bushels of alfalfa seed has been grown at Mills this season. Of this amount three hundred bushels is Grimm, which will bring from 30 to 50 cents per pound, while the balanco is common seed, and is worth from 10 to 20 cents per pound. This is over twice as much seed as was grown at Mills last year, while the produc tion In Nephi la about sixty per cent as much as last year. Young Couple Married In Ward Gleaner Manti Temple Wednesday Nephi Girls Club Organized The marriage of Fred Newton of Mona and Miss Arvilla Boswell of Nephi was solemnized in the Manti Temple last Wednesday. Emil Hansen, specialist" in landscape architecture, of the Agricultural College, viaited Nephi Wednesday, in furtherance of the city project which was started last summer, and with county agent Smith, visited sixteen homes of persons who had applied for his services in planning their grounds and plantings. Mr. Hansen not' only makes .a sketch of the place, to show where each shrub and tree Is to be planted, but gives .a list of varieties and the number of each to plant. The following persons availed themselves of the opportunity of this service, and had plans and lists made for their homes: Wm, Jones, Jesse Pay, Robt. Pyper, Stephen Boswell, Chas. Tolley, A.' J , Gowers, C. H. Grace, W. A. Sells, A. E. Smith, A. V. Gadd, J. E. Reid. Dennis Wood, W. G. Orme, J. E. Memmott, Robert Lomax and J. Wal ter Paxman. In addition to these homes, plans for beautification of the tabernacle grounds and the new Forrest hotel grounds were made. Plans for the high school grounds, the South-warchapel and the North ward chapel were previously made and soma planting done last season. S.' newspaper, came off the press Tuesday morning and is to be highly praised. They- have reason to believe that the next one will be so. just as satisfactory, if The staff members who have had practically no experience along this line have surely developed talent and are to be complimented. These issues will certainly be a credit and 'boost er' for the N. H. S. The English department have tak en over the work of writing a ser lal story. The Seniors will write the first installment, the Juniors tne second. Sophomores third and tho Freshmen will finish it. Quite number of the first Installments have come in, but, as yet none have been decided upon for the paper.
