W. W. Owens, State Leader, of County Agents and Farm Bureau work was present and delivered a highly interesting and valuable address to those present. Mr. Owens, advocated very strongly that the farmers of Juab Valley give more attention to dairying, stating that it was not safe to depend entirely on one crop. As far as grain farming is concerned, he stated that the farmers of this valley were above the average in the production of wheat & other grains, but he urged that more diversified system of farming be done Another line of endeavor that should receive attention said Mr. Owens, was the raising of good horses. He predicted that in the near future good horses were going to be more valuable than at the present time, and would be in greater demand The meeting then took up the matter of the Logan encampment In July, and it was the sense of the meeting that a special effort should be made by the bureau here, to have as many as possible of the members attend. Short talks were then made by members of the poultry association on the best methods to be employed in caring for the young chicks and other questions pertaining to the GRADE SCHOOLS i J-. W. W.
