Perhaps, without question the most successful reunion ever held in Nephi was that of the Second Ward last Wednesday and Thursday. The big time began Wednesday atone o'clock when all of ihe residents of the ward over 20 years of age gathered at the Amusement hall which had been transformed into a banquet hall with tables set to accommodate 300 persons at one setting. Nea ly 550 guests sat down to the tables which fairly groaned with the good things of life. The spirit of love and good fellowship beaming from the countenances and imparted by the cordial handshake of the courteous members of the reception committee, made everyone feel that they were more than welcome. At the tables the committee on serving saw to it that every thing in the shape of food that was desired was served in abundance, and no one could ever entertaiai for a minute the thought that he had been neglected. Everyone, rich or poor, was treated alike, and went away feeling that it was a veritable love-feas- t.
