It's going to take a massive effort to clean up after ourselves. Did vou hear the one about the airline pilot who told the L.A. tower he was lost? Seems a fair wind cleared Los Angeles of smog. The pilot couldn't remember what the airport looKea iwe irom the air. Mv ooDonent, the guy with his name under the ele phant on the ballot, didn t show much foresight when Congress was worrying about the clean air standards back in 1967. He didn't bother to vote. Seems he was worried about saving us from inflation and he forgot we had to breathe. Well. I'm four-square against pollution. If you send me to Congress i ll try to una a pollution solution. And I'm serious about that. I noticed in the paper that some scientists are worried that the lead in house paint might be dangerous. Senator Bennett may have to get the lead out of his paints! 1 FOR CONGRESS Paid advertisement by Volunteers for Nance Committee J. P.
