Show U.C.F.C TO MEET ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10 The annual meeting of the Utah Council of Farmer Cooperatives will be held at the Motel Utah on Monday, November 10, according to A. W. Chambers, president. The UCFC is an organization of all cooperatives in Utah. Through this organization they work together to-gether for education purposes, to exchange ideas and discuss and try to solve problems relating to farmer farm-er cooperative in this area. The meeting will start ubout 9 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Milo K. Swanton, one of America's Am-erica's foremost agricultural leaders, lead-ers, will be the main speaker. He is executive secretary of the Wisconsin Wis-consin Council of Agricultural Cooperatives. Co-operatives. He is also a trustee of the American Institute of Cooperation, Cooper-ation, a director of the National Milk Producers Federation and a member of the executive board of the American Country Life Ass'n. Members of the FFA and 4-H groups will be in attendance from all parts of the state. Special meetings meet-ings of these groups will be conducted con-ducted by Glen Baird, Mark Nichols Nich-ols and Elwin Downs. Two interesting panel discussions discus-sions are scheduled with many of the state's co-op leaders participating. partici-pating. Reports will be heard from the boys who represented Utah at the American Institute of Cooperation Cooper-ation and special meetings will be arranged for women who attend. |
