Show Himckley ELAINE HARDY Belva and Harold Morris went to Provo Wednesday for Belva to have a post surgery checkup on her eye. Karolyn drove them up. Jared Simlsky is at home with his family, the Stan Simiskys now. He has been attending BYU, Provo. Steve Searle, who is visiting here at the Lynn Talbots, from Kansas City, Kan. went to Bountiful to see his dad, Archie Searle. They went on to Flaming Gorge to fish. Steve's son, Clay went with him. Mrs. Betty Talbot and baby Shawn left Monday to drive to Las Vegas for a couple of days. At the Ted Dennisons on the weekend was his son, Dallon, his wife, Kristie and two children of Salt Lake. Robert and Kerry Law of Cedar came to see their families here, the Kennard Carters and the Frank Laws in Delta. Our Clean-Up Chairman Mrs. Karen Redd reports that block chairmen will be named for each of the four sections of town. Two have already been named, Jim Purdue Pur-due for the south-west section and Eugene Bishop for the north-east section. Mrs. Clara Stewart reports that her son, Don who was seriously injured in-jured in a car accident recently is out of the hospital and is improving but had such serious injuries that are requiring a lot of repair work and time for the injuries to heal. He has a long way to go yet. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hunter of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wood of Holden came to see the Carl Hardy family Sunday. The Judd Hardys of Salt Lake were at the Carl Hardys. They took Gloria Willday's little girl, Wendy back with them to stay for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Hale of Grantsville came down Friday and were at the Gale Bennett's to see their daughter, Natalie and the family. Mrs. Hale Is in West Millard Mil-lard Hospital at the present time. Mr. Hale came again Sunday to see her after having been out to their ranch and then he returned to Grantsville later Sunday. The Kennard Carter's son, Pete has gone to Alaska with Faun and Luella Western. Deb and baby are staying at Faun's place while Pete is gone. Several people from Hinckley have been hospitalized at West Millard Hospital the past week. Friday night Kevin Crowley, son of the John Crowleys accidentally spilled hot grease on his left foot causing a severe burn. He was released re-leased a couple of days later to his home. Also the baby son of Steven Talbot's, Shawn, suffered from pneumonia and was hospital-led hospital-led four days. He is better now. Carl Damron was in the hospital for two days and is now home. Elaine Hardy was in the hospital Saturday. Mrs. LaFay Corey is able to be up and around a little bit now. She has rheumatic fever. Beverly Skeem and a friend of BYU, Provo, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Skeem. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Simisky have returned home after visiting in Freeport, Texas with their son, Patrick, Pat-rick, his wife, Saundra and their two sons and new baby boy, who will be given the name of Mathew. Darlene Overson visited Sunday with Gloria Willday at the Carl Hardys. Stan and Jared Simisky went to Salt Lake Monday. Edith Ann Warnick and her roommate of Las Vegas, who both attend school at Cedar spent the weekend here. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Morris and Ed went to Ely, Nev. to attend funeral services for Jack Rushton, husband of Very Young Rushton, who is a sister to Alva Young of Abraham. The Morrises and Rsh-tons Rsh-tons were neighbors many years ago in Nevada. Russell Talbot of Provo spent the weekend. Harold and Anna Lee Hepworth, Walter and Bonnie Manis went up north Friday where they attended the performance of Rouvan at Valley Music Hall. Richard and Dorthella Knott stopped here to see relatives on their way home from San Francisco Fran-cisco to Bountiful. Dorthella is Vera and Heber Bishop's daughter. Sharon and Bruce James and Bobby and Duncan were here from Salt Lake Saturday and Sunday. Jerri and Arlo Taylor went up north Saturday to hear Rouvan at Valley Music Hall. The Cluff Talbots and the Howard How-ard Hardys were at Wallsburg to see about cattle this week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Redd of Orem visited their son, Dean and family on Monday of last week. Then Thursday, Dean, Karen and family went up there to see Joe and wife before they left to go to their summer home in Colorado. Gary Greener was home for the weekend. Winter made a visit last week with a good snow fall and some wind. Some even reported huge icicles on their houses. Seemed like the middle of December. But now spring seems to be on the way. The sun is shining and it is warm. Joyce Gronning was over from Auroro to see LaFay Corey, who is ill. Also David and Karol Corey of Provo came to see LaFay. The baby boy of Rita Jackson's ( was blessed in Church Sunday and given th name of Shawn Arthur. Vera and Heber Bishop returned home Monday afternoon atfer' having been away all winter. They( were in Calif, most of the winter,' then in Bountiful with their chil-' dren. Lars came down to bring them. ! Marion and Faun Dillenbeck have been at Salt Lake with Rand and Rachel Cahoon. Hon and Erma Cropper went to Salt Lake on the weekend to see Mary Ellen's husband, Aaron, off for Vietnam. DELTA THIRD WARD AREA NEWS BRIEFS MRS.
