Oasis is running a close second to "Believe It Or Not by Ripley". There's Norve Christensen's white hen that is laying Easter eggs. Of course they are all blue, but that's a pretty color. And LaVene Gillen has handed the pitch fork back to Deon. And the rain last Tuesday didn't dampen the spirits of the ladies who atended Relief Society. One gal didn't even recognize hers and started walking home. Then a little bird whistled at her and she turned turn-ed around and gave a second look. The key fit so she rubbed her eyes and got in. Of course I wouldn 't tell who it was, cause we're all capable. She might feel bad, not seeing her name in the paper, but I'm not going to tell anyway. We got a letter the other day say- ing that our grandson, Lynn Bishop who spent last summer with us here on the farm, had been initiated initiat-ed into the National Honor Society.' He is a student in Fallon, Nev., high school and is the son of David and Arlene Bishop. Now I'm inviting you to send in your excuses for bragging, and I'll put it in the Chronicle too.
