Mr. Marlon Terry, former resident resi-dent of Delta, died in a Las Vegas Hospital Saturday of cancer. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Terry and Mrs. Marion Terry of Las Vegas traveled travel-ed to Delta Saturday evening and Millard County Chronicle Thursday, October 16, 1969 HOW TO HUNT DEER First get a fast car so you can beat the other hunters to the best spot. This will give you a chance of being killed before you get in the woods. It will save some other hunter some ammo and the mess of shooting you. Take one or two' cases of whiskey, at least four cases of beer and lots of ammo. Food, tents and sleeping bags take up a lot of space so get another case of whiskey instead. BE SURE to shoot anything that moves or looks as if it might If it's not a deer, there is always the chance it might be your mother-in-law. Now, if and when you get your deer or elk down, be sure to shoot all the' shells you have into it. This will be sure to splinter all the bones and bust the entrails. In case you are the kind of hunter hunt-er who likes to draw your deer, be sure to rip open any intestines you find intact. Don't bother to wash or wipe it out as the blood and manure will enhance the flavor. fla-vor. Besides the locker plant oper- fttnr wil Via icQnnnintfli4 it .mil I bring in a clean one. IF YOU DECIDE TO SKIN IT, be sure to roll it around in the dirt, pine needles and leaves, then, wrap it in newspaper as they will stick well and printer's ink has a definite flavor of burnt rubber. Now, important note here drag it to the car throw it over the hood as close to the radiator as possible so that it will collect all the heat and dust possible. On the way home be sure to stop at the tavern so you can tell the other hunters how you killed the animal at 300 yards, running. Be sure vo stay at the tavern until you are certain the locker plant, where you wish to hang the deer, is closed for the night and the operator is! sound asleep (more than likely having a nightmare). Your locker man will, no doubt, have quite a few deer hanging so insist he cut yours first and make it all into choice steaks and chops. PARDON ME, HAVE YOU AN ASPIRIN? HERE COMES ANOTHER ONE! We WILL process you deer. MARION & DEAN'S stayed at the home of Joyce's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miller, then Sunday they went to Salt Lake.
