Coming in on the Berylium road they hit a cow and ruined their car. No one was hurt as they were going quite slow. Also Mr. and Mrs. Dean I.osee of St. George visited them. Dean is going to teach school in Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Jensen and family of Spanish Fork visited their brother, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jensen over the weekend holiday. LaRene Davis and Michael and Mr. and Mrs. Russell McBride of West Jordan and Salt Lake visited Wednesday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Davis and family. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Shurtz entertained enter-tained for the Shurtz family Saturday Sat-urday evening .then they all went to the Strawberry reservoir for fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Curtis and family of Elko, Nev. visited a week ago with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. June Hinckley. They all made a trip into Salt Lake during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Clark and family of Bountiful visited with their mother, Mrs. John Clark. Mathew was in a car wreck coming com-ing from work and was hospitalized. hospital-ized. He is doing fine now and will be back at work soon. Dean Boyle and his mother Ethel Boyle of Salt Lake visited with her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Curt Shields one day last week. Mr. Murray Perkins and Sherm Perkins visited Sunday with Henrietta Hen-rietta Barben and family. Mr. and Mrs. Val Sorenson of Bountiful are the proud parents of a fine baby boy. Corey. Mr. Corey is the son of Mrs. John E. Corey cf Hinckley. The engaged pair will exchange wedding vows in the Manti LDS Temple Saturday, Sept. 13, 1969. A reception will follow that same evening at Sutherland between the hours of 8:30 and 11:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Mr. Corey has attended Dixie College and filled an LDS mission in England. Miss Lyman is a Brigham Young University junior majoring in music. Bishop of Delta announce the engagement and forhcoming marriage of their daughter, Drexcl, to Mr. Kenneth Moacham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Mcacham of Delta. The couple is planning a Sept. 12, 19G9 wedding in the Sutherland Ward Crapel. They will make their home in Delta. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Adams, Delta. The couple will be honored at a reception in Orem after exchanging exchang-ing vows in the Manti LDS Temple September, 6, 1969. An Openhouse at the home of the groom's parents will be held Monday, September 8, in Delta. All friends re cordially invited to attend. ' Miss McEwan is a student of the BYU Nursing' program at the LDS Hospital. The groom has completed an LDS mission in England. He is a student at the University of Utah. Mrs. Ada Young and son, Vernon of Las Vegas spent the weekend visiting at the Bud Richardson's and at the Snake Valley reunion, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Van Buskirk of Wash, spent Saturday night at the Vivian Dearden's. They were also in attendance at the dance and barbeque. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Sutherland of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Smith of Tremonten spent the Labor Day weekend visiting with-the with-the Bud Richardsons and the Chub Richardsons. Donna returned to Las Vegas with her to spend a week or ten days before Fall Quarter starts. Mrs. Ruth Ann Carter, our other elementary teacher has moved her trailer house into Garrison.
