Leon flew to Washington, D.C. on a business trip and Paul Faris who iss pending the summer with the Warren Jensen family flew to Calif, and drove up with Colene and children. chil-dren. On Leon's return Colene, her mother, Ruth Jensen and sister, Ar-villa Ar-villa Faris met him at the Salt Lake airport, they visited Theron ! and Emily Eggleston of Salt Lake j and Roy and Ruth Ferrin and family of Tooele and Rex and Sybil i Jensen and family of Sandy. The Hickens spent three days in Logan with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Eli-jah M. Hicken and other family members gathered there for a wedding in the family. Saturday the Leon Hickens, Robert Farises, Warren Jensens, Ruth and Elbert Jensen spent the day at the Jens P. Jensen family reunion at Maple Grove and all returned for the evening and Sunday together at the Jensen home. Sunday afternoon the visiting relatives left for their homes. Other First Ward members at the reunion were Mr. and Mr. Ronald Jensen and family and Carol Ann Jensen and children along with their parents, Harold and Grace Jensen. Dick and Sandy Willoughby and son, Christopher, have moved here from Calif. We are glad to have them back. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rowley visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Loren Rowley Row-ley and family this weekend. Thurs day, Mrs. S. Rowley (Coleen) was given a baby shower by her sister-in-law, Sharon Rowley. She received re-ceived many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Ashley Hendrick-sen Hendrick-sen of Calif, have been visiting with Mr. rnd Mrs. Kelly Hawley. David and Don, sons of Mr. and Mrs. David Stanworth of Salt Lake spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stanworth and family. Also, Cindy Pearson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pearson visited with them. Judy and Carolyn Stanworth, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Stanworth of Mangna, visited with Mrs. Ethle M. Stanworth. Sacrament meeting Sunday wss given by Elder David Corey who recently returned from a mission. Warren Peterson and John Bishop also spoke. Last Tuesay the Oasis Ward had a party. A fine program was given after a potluck supper. The many people who came enjoyed the eve ning. Vickie Webb is visiting with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Skeem. Mr. and Mrs. Deon Gillen attended attend-ed a family reunion In Salt Lake after a trip to Yellowstone. A IS jS A II AM MRS. AFTON FULLMEP Eugene Losee and family of Delta also attended the reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Fraser Buck and children, Kim'berly and Arienne, Provo, were weekend guests at the home of parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Riding. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Maxfield and to attend the funeral services for Mr. Arch Poulson were Mr. and Mrs. Elden Poulson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Maxfield and young son, all of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hawley of South Pasedena, Calif, have been visiting with his brother and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Med Hawley and with his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Robison, Sutherland. Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Riding visited in Salt Lake with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Vest. Sunday visitors at the home of Veva Dekker were newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dekker. The astro-naughts astro-naughts landed safely on the moon I can't help but wonder what next. I really an glad that I lived to see this day. Our deepest sympathy goes to the Arch Poulsen and Lester Johnson John-son families at the death of Arch and Lester. Altho they both suffered suffer-ed a lot it is hard to give them uo and go on without them. But when the call comes we have no choice. Our prayers ere with those who remain, Norma Poulsen and Betty Johnson rnd their children. "May they receive comfort at this sad, sad time." Received a nice card from Mrs. Shirley Roberts of Stockton, Utah expressing sympathy for Clark Bliss at the death of Reva. Shirley never knew Clark too well but loved Reva and said she understood how I and all the other folk in Abraham Abra-ham miss her. Mrs. Ethel Waters of Delta has had her daughter Evah and hus-hand hus-hand with her for aweek. They took her to Salt Lake to check with her doctor while they were here. Evah lives in Pueblo, Colo. I Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tennant of Tooele and Mrs. Norma Poulsen of Grantsville came down to the Arch Poulsen funeral Saturday. By the j way, all the children and grand-, children of the Arch and Norma Poulsen family were present. Two sons of each, Dave, Don and Elden were the pall bearers. Sugarville ward helped with the food. The services were so appropriate and a big consolation to the family, I'm sure. Alva Young has built a huge grain elevator just across the road to the north from his house. Another An-other project to be built in Abraham Abra-ham this summer. Tracy and Sandi Fullmer of Lake Point spent the weekend here and attended the Poulsen funeral. They also visited Sandi's father, Doyle Pace at the Whiskey Creek ranch. Birthday greetings, some belated, goes to so many in the family in July, Janice Spencer, Ann Thomas, Kathleen Poulsen, Willard Fullmer, Marilyn Sheriff, Sandi Fullmer, Luena Fullmer, Shauna Fullmer, Patsy Fullmer, Mathew Fullmer, and Myron Fullmer. I hope I haven't missed any. If I have I'll hear ahout it. Miss Cindy Meacham, daugther Garrison News by DONNA RICHARDSON Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb and family of Calif, spent a few days visiting at the Austin Williams residence. Mrs. Limb and Mrs. Williams are sisters. Mrs. Rhoda Terry drove Clifford Bellantler to Salt Lake to have a medical checkup. Mr. Wayne Gonder and Delbert H. Young went to Ely Wednesday evening to a power meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wheeler were the chaperones from Garrison Branch attending the Youth Conference Con-ference in Delta on July 18 and 19. The young folks in attendance were Bill Williams, James Wheeler, Carolyn Wheeler, Jane Ellen Swen-e.' Swen-e.' on and Caralee Deardon. Mr. and Mrs. Chub Richardson and family have been enjoying the presence of Grandpa Gledhill of Salina, Ut. in their home. He will leave for his home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dearden and nephew, Terry Bleyl left for Strawberry Straw-berry reservoir to do come fishing then on Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden and so, Bill will jo'n them to enjoy the week end fishing.
