Mrs. Bishop attended the wedding reception of a grand-! daughter Monday evening. Ella visited with her new great granddaughter, grand-daughter, born March 18 to Mr. and Mrs. David Stevens. Croat grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Elva Stevens of Pleasant Grove. Grand-1 parents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Spiers and Vera and Dee Stevens, all of Salt Lake City. Laveda Bishop, Ella Christensen, Celia Christensen and Myrle Bennett Ben-nett of Deseret spent the day visiting visit-ing relatives Friday. Tim and Gwen Anderson had their oaby blessed and named Sunday. Sun-day. He was given the name o' Darrin Tim. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Holt visited our ward for the bless ing. Floyd and I visited Pearl Nielson' in Axtell, Utah. She is 81-years-old and in good health. Mr. Earl Stanworth will soon be able to be dismissed from the Sf Marks Hospital whera he has spant the last week. Ila and Irene went up Monday to bring him home. Mr. and Mrs. George Rawson, ' Mr. and Mrs. David Stanworth of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Pearson of Logan spent the week! end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stanworth and attended, Saturday night's production of: "Bye Bye Birdie". While here they had their son blessed and named by his grand father. He was given tho name of John Ray. Merrill and Kay live In 'Las Vegas, Nev. Also at the Maxfield Max-field residence was their daughter, Kathryn, from Utah State University. Univer-sity. The wedding reception of Robert Gardner and Elaine Smith in Fillmore Fill-more last weekend was a very beautiful affair. A large crowd attended at-tended and many close relatives and friends came from out of town for the lovely occasion. There were 30 members of the immediate family were present to go througn the Mantl Temple with them and the wedding ceremony. Gary W. Gardner, SN, who is stationed in the Philippines, was unable to come home at this time. Robert and Elaine are making their home in Logan whore both are attending Utah State. Dr. and Mrs. Harold J. Snow and children, David and Jullie Ann, have 'been visitors at the Evan Gardner and Violet Snow homes for the past ton days'. Or. Snow left Sunday to return Lo their home in Sacramento. Sandra and children will remain in Delta until after Easter when Harold will return to take his family home. Mr. and Mrs. Kay E. Gardner have been visitors at the Max Robisons and tin Evan Gardners and have returned home to Orem. Mrs. Donna Sagers returned home Wednesday from a trip to Calif, to visit friends. Mrs. Dorothy Gardner entertained entertain-ed Pt her home Saturday night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner Gard-ner and Dr. fnd Mrs. Harold J. Snow. Members of the family were present for a very delicious dinner. Visiting and games were enjoyed the remainder of the evening. Congratulations to Diane Van d3 Vanter who became the bride of ,Mr. Clayton Cliidester Saturday niftlit. Best wishes to a long and happy life together. The young ! couple were honored that same evening with a lovely reception. Mr. and Mrs. Chidester will be making their home in Portland, ! Oregon. Tuesday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bliss and Mrs. Judy Ann Stoneking and son, Todd drove to Vernon and visited a few hours with Mrs. Larry Sanderson and infant daughter, Wanda Elaine. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Petersen just recently returned from a tour in Kane County.
