Show Hinckley - - - ELAINE HARDY Mrs. Celia King had her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Fielding and children of Henderson, Nevada to visit with her and Jerry and family last weekend. Another brother, Lawrence Fielding of McGill also visited. Blaino and Fay Theobald went to Spanish Fork Tuesday. Mrs. Carolyn Stevens went to St. George Friday as a chaperone for the Pep Club. Lawanna Davis and children of Tooele visited her parents, the Karl Workmans last week. Karl and Arvilla Workman at-tended at-tended church in St. George last Sunday where Elma and her family were presenting the program. Mrs. Alice Bliss was hostess to the Literary Club Wednesday evening eve-ning at her home. Members and guest Mrs. Marlcne Bliss enjoyed the evening. Mrs. Reva Talbot gave a review of the book "Woman of the People" by Wm. Capps. Mrs. Sobrina Ekins was in Salt Lake to a convention recently. Monday a workshop was held at thes chool for parents of Headstart students. The parents came and made articles that will be used bv their children in Headstart. The Relief Society Annual Day wil be held this Tuesday, Mar. 10. It will be held in connection with the regular Homemaking Day. Dinner will be served at noon, with a program immediately following. All women of the ward are invited. Sharon Buchanan and family were down this week. Duncan stayed stay-ed for a visit with us. Belva and Harold Morris spent several days in St. George. They went to the temple and attended the tournament. The Gordon Chatwin family went to Provo Friday morning to visit with Pat's parents, the Bob Bishops. The Bishops have just bought a new home in Provo. Don Morris and Douglas Spencer went to Salt Lake Friday on busi ness. Holly Manis, biide-to-be. was the guest of honor Friday evening at a Bridal Shower. Hostesses were Mrs. Kelly Talbot and Mrs. Deon Ekins at the Talbot home. A Bridal Book was made, games played and refreshments served. Honoring Phil Manis's 15th birthday birth-day Saturday evening, two of his friends, Robert Sabey and Mark Talbot enjoyed a pizza supper at the Manis home and then went skating. Mrs. Angie Cahoon is feeling better after having been hospitalized hospital-ized at West Millard Hospital the first of last week. Friday Arvin Anderson of Kamas visited with the Boyd Louder family. Mrs. Reva Talbot attended a business meeting in Spanish Fork Thursday evening. Lynn Talbot was hospitalized at West Millard Hospital this week and then transferred to Salt Lake for further treatment. He is now much improved. Mrs. Clair Alldiedge has gone n Salt Lake to meet her husband. Dwight, who is leturning this week from Vietnam where he has Tjeen serving for several months. Mr. and Mrs. Jarrard Whitaker and children visited with Jarrard's gandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Western Sunday. Vicki and Dennis Halsey were up from Milford to visit on the weekend. Mrs. Beryl Hardy 's in charge of the doughnut project for the ward building fund. Orders may be placed for fresh, delicious doughnuts dough-nuts at the lunch room or at Morris More. Ken and Nina Mecham visited over the weekend with their children chil-dren at Provo, Dorothy and Brooks Robinson and family and Ron and Cheryl Mecham and family. Jerri nd Arlo Taylor visited Arlo's uncle, Alma Taylor at Pleasant Plea-sant Grove last Saturday. Mrs. Pearl Wilkins spent the past week in Salt Lake with her sister, Blanche Bond, who had just been released from the hospital after surgery. Horace took her up and then went back on the week end to bring her home. Our high school basketball team and coach deserve a lot of credit for the fine work they have done. Primary will be held on Wednesdays Wed-nesdays now. Mr. and Mrs. Parry Tippetts and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Taylor, chairmen chair-men of the recent Valentine Party, would like to thank everyone who helped make the party a success. Joanne Oshley went to Tooele Friday for the weekend. Jay and Rose Bradfield brought her home Sunday afternoon. Jane Tree of Tooele came with them. We all had a nice visit. Mrs. Dean Holdaway took her daughter Dena Rassmussen to Salt Lake where she boarded the plane 1 fo Hawaii. She will spend ten days with her husband, Steve Rassmus sen who is on furlough. Steve is in the service in Vietnam. Llittle Barbie stayed home with her grandparents. Visitors at the Louis Overson home Sunday were Hattie Ander son of Leamington, Mr. and Mrs. Don Anderson and children, Larry, Eddie, and Janel of Orem. Sandra Benson of Cedar and Judy Nielson of BYU were home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bradfield went to Leamington Sunday and had "Happy Birthday Dinner" with mother, Margaret Bradfield. This is the second grandchild for La-Forge La-Forge and Louise. They have one granddaughter.
