The Joe Morrises had their daughter, dau-ghter, Jan and her husband of Salt Lake visit last weekend. Mr. Cloyd Love.and is visiting here with his sister, Mrs. Lillian Keller, and her husband, Allen. Lee and Lois Wilson of Dugway visited Saturday. After visiting at Cerlha Bishop's for two weeks, her son Paul Virgin and four children left to go home to Chino, Calif. Also visiting Gerlha has been another son, Mike and Marcia and son, Brad. While they were all here, the family group visited Lehman Cave. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Randle Swensen and Mrs. Janeve Chapman attended the Sterling Ward reunion. Heber and Vera Bishop received word of the arrival of a grandson horn to Janith and Bill Clark on Saturday, August 24th at Bountiful. This is the Bishops 32nd grandchild. Bill just graduated from Weber State College this year. The Bishops also received word of the arrival of their 3rd greatgrandchild great-grandchild born to Arnell and David Sandulin August 7th it Notre Dame, Indiana. David is attending at-tending school at Notre Dame. The baby is a grandson of Arlene and Arnold Hecker. Mrs. Grace Hiatt and children visited on the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Fern Hepworth and other family members. Gayien Cropper won first place in the roping division of the Riding Club Regional meet at Richfield last week. Congratulations Gayien. Marcia Lynn Cooper of Texas is living with the Cluff Talbot family fam-ily this year and will be attending Delta High School. Mrs. Karen Redd is replacing Mrs. Elcee Crafts as 1st Counselor in the Primary. Elcee is moving from our town. Also, Richard Schaub has been selected for the position of secretary of the YMMIA. We wish these new workers success in their new jobs. High Councilman Lincoln Eliason, Mr. Parnell Hinckley of Salt Lake (Lincoln's father-in-law) and Gil Dutson presented the program for Church Sunday evening. Also visiting visit-ing the ward that evening were Gil's wife and Winona and Ormus Dutson. Vicki Halsey of Milford visited her family this week. Alma Edwards and friend, Edna Seamon of Salt Lake visited the families of Enid Damron and Alta Warnick. Enid and Alta and Alma are sisters. Sherlene Judd and Bonita Rusby went to Richfield last week. Sonya Ashby of Delta has been staying with her cousin, Dottie Damron this week. Mable Olsen of Provo has been visiting her brother, Ralph Crafts and family. With fier was Kim Smith and Debra Smith. Sunday they all joined the Dudley Crafts family at Delta for dinner to help Dudley celebrate his birthday. Sharilyn and Steve Gifford of Salt Lake visited us and Steve's family over the weekend. Marion Dillenbeck, in the hospital hos-pital in Salt Lake is somewhat improved. im-proved. We send get-well wishes to him and hope he will continue to recover. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Mr. Lyman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank A. Lyman of Sutherland. Officiating at the ceremony was E der Gordon B. Hinckley of the Council of Twelve. ....The couple was honored at a reception later that same evening at Deseret Stake Center. They greeted guests before a backdrop of yellow and white net and ribbon featuring white pillars and ye' low chrysanthemums. Baskets of gladiola fronds were placed on the stage. The bride was lovely in her original gown of white satin and lace. Her chapel length train was fastened at the back with a satin bow. Her veil of sheer illusion was held in place by a pearl en crusted lace flower. Haws reunion vas held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perry M. Tippetts in Hinckley over the weekend. All five brothers and only sister of Beatrice Tippetts were present: Theron and Margarita Marga-rita Haws and four children and Del and Lorna Haws and six children, chil-dren, all of Provo, Ut.; Ted and Ina Vane and six children and Theo and Norma Haws and three children, chil-dren, all of Springville, Ut.; Wayne and Marge Haws and six children, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Erwin and Martha Haws and three children, chil-dren, Farmington, Ut.; Janice Tippetts, Tip-petts, daughter-in-law of Perry Tippetts, Colton, Calif.; and Perry and Bea Tippetts and three children. chil-dren. Swimming, boating, water-skiing water-skiing and picnic were enjoyed by all at the reservoir Saturday with nanrifire singing Saturday night. Sundiy, all attended the Hinckley Ward Sunday School. Family meeting meet-ing wrs conducted by Bea Tippetts. E'iason, Susan Lyman, Elaine Eliason, LaAnn Lyman and Gwen Eliason. They were gowned in identical floor length models of yellow textured silk with lace trim. They carried nosegays of yellow and white chrysanthemums chrysanthe-mums and daisies. Filling best man duties was Joe Lyman. Ushers were Carl and Ray Lyman and Lonnie Eliason. Mothers of the bridal pair wore silk dress suits with jeweled trim. Greeting guests with the bridal party were Mr. and Mrs. Parnell Hinckley, Salt Lake City, grandparents grand-parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter, Sutherland, grandparents of the groom. Master of ceremonies for the program was Glen Larsen, Spanish Span-ish Fork, uncle of the bride. An uncle of the groom, Kenneth Porter, Por-ter, offered prayer. Karrol Lyman and Connie Lovell sang a duet accompanied by Eva Dean Moody. Karen Eliason and Kathy Lyman sang a medley of songs accompanied accom-panied by Susan Gardner. Gayle Eliason gave a humerous history of the life of the bride and groom. Lonnie and Gwen Eliason joined in giving a humerous tribute to the newlywed couple. A violin, cel'o and piano trio from the BYU Entertainment Center played throughout the evening and for the wedding waltz. The new Mr. and Mrs. Lyman are now at home at 129 South 600 West, Provo. Couple United Mr. and Mrs. Neno Schena of Abraham announce the marriage of their daughter, Nina Lee, to Mr., Ancil Thomas Lovell, son of Bishop and Mrs. Lem Lovell of Delta. I The couple were married in Delta by Bishop Lovell August 27, 1968. The newly wed couple are making their home in Salt Lake where Tom has employment. ! Snow report their mission were their daughters, dau-ghters, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Holt and family of enterprise and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Estes and family of Salt Lake; Mr. Snow's twin brother, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Snow of St. George, and his sister, Rosamont Westover, also of St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Snow and family andd Mr. Cecil James, all of Provo and Joyce Jensen of Penn and Lob Hirchi of Brigham City, sisters of Mrs. Richard Snow. Mr. James Is Mrs. Richard Snow's father. ' Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Workman and two of their children, Paul and Myron were here for the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Workman. Merlin andh is family have recently moved from Baytown, Texas to Colorado Springs, Colo, where he is going into business. I'm back again after my stay In the hospital. I stayed a week with my sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bradfiold. I wish to thank them along with all the rest of my friends and neighbors who were so nice to send cards, letters and to visit me after I returned home. Delene Skeem also had surgery on her mouth. She wishes to thank her friends, also. Morgan Howell is happy to be home from the LDS Hospital where he has been hospitalized with pneumonia. Nora Anderson sustained a broken arm as a result of a fall from a horse. Elmo and Iris Gillen and Jackie, Michele and Greg went to Salt Lake Monday to keep an appointment appoint-ment with Greg's doctor. David and Arlene Bishop of Nev. and their family came this weekend week-end to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop and to return Dean to their home. Dean has spent the summer with his grandparents. Carlos- Bishop and son of Cedar visited with the Bishop's also. Shirley Skeem has had her sister Rama Brush of Calif, visit with her and her mother in Delta. They all went to Salt Lake Saturdayl to visit their sister, Flora Campbell. Greg Townsend of Salt Lake ii visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anderson. He'll spend the winter with them and attend school in Delta. Sandy Wade is staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alford Peterson and will attend school this winter. Cassie Johnson has had a lovely trip to Washinton where she had a nice visit with her son, Ray, and family and daughter, Glenna, and family. Margaret Richardson and two friends of Las Vegas stopped at her parents home Tuesday morning on their way to Salt Lake to keep doctor appointments.
