It was wonderful to see so many visitors, friends and relatives. A real large crowd attended the, banquet this year. A Class Reunion of the '28 graduating class wasi held just prior to the banquet. Vicki and Dennis Halsey of Mil-ford Mil-ford visited the Eugene Bishops this week. Also Gwen and Billie Rogers and two children came up from Milford. Joyce and Marion Manwell and children were visitors at Carl Theobalds. Theo-balds. Tommy Theobald and family spent a few days with his parents, the Alton Theobald3. Also visiting the Theobalds has been Mr. and Mrs. Leon Harney and children of Salt Lake. Carl Theobald suffered a broken nose when hit by a tree limb when cleaning a ditch. Alma Western has been ill this week and will have surgery this weekend. Mrs. Elva Skeem and small children child-ren were home fro the weekend from her school teaching in Idaho. I had the opportunity of enjoying enjoy-ing programs in Deseret and Oasis besides the Hinckley ward Sunday morning. The Reece Finlinson family visited visit-ed our ward Sunday night. With them was Ronald Anderson. Mrs. Margaret Roper has been visiting with the Eugene Morris family for a few days. She spent Mother's Day here. It was real enjoyable to see Blaine and Harriet Spendlove and girls of Kaysville here on the week end. Also Dr. and Mrs. Verl A (Mar-gene (Mar-gene Hilton) Jensen and three girls of Caldwell, Idaho; Darrell and Birdie Lou Hilton Allred and five children of Salt Lake. Margaret and Frank Wilde and two children spent Mother's Day with Sebrina and George Ekins. EiDean and Duane Ekins have visited here for the holiday with parents and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stewart and family of Provo, Mary Abbott and family of Spanish Fork and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Christensen and family of Salt Lake all spent Mother's Day weekend with their mother, Mrs. Clara Stewart. The Larry Clarks visited the Glen Taylors Saturday. Verdon Blake has been here this week. Last week Clark and Reva Bliss drove to Santiquin to spend their 47th wedding anniversary with some old friends of many years, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Calloway. Clark stayed with them when he was working In a mine many years ago. Mrs. Erma Petersen spent a few days last week in Salt Lake with her kids and also checking with her doctor. Chaiieen and Arnold both live up there. Congratulations to Denys Schena on hor marriage. We wish her much happiness. The Bride's Tea they had in the Sutherland cultural hall was very nice and well attended. Many lovely and useful gifts were received and sincere good wishes for the happy couple. Nancy Munster and Bryce Brush receive our congratulations also. They had a lovely wedding Saturday Satur-day night in the Odd Fellows Hall. Although we couldn't attend we wish them a long and happy life together. Our sympathy goes to the Gavin and Woods families at the sad death by drowning of little two year old Boyd Lee Gavin in Grants ville last week. The Lon Woods and Carol Woods Gavin lived here in Abraham for many years. . We were sa happy to hear of the new "baby boy" of Karen and Dirk Fowles. Quite an event for the Karl Murrays as their family is all girls and this is their first grandson. Jay and Luena Fullmer went to Provo Tuesday to see their son,1 Rodney, who was In a bad accident Sunday on his way back to school. During that bad wind two cars were wrecked and Rodney and another an-other man were hurt but not too badly. Belated birthday greetings to our son Ladd Fullmer in Crested Butte, Colo. May 8th. I think he is 44 years old. Sandra and Scott Rassmuson of Vernal are proud parents of a 10 lb. 13 oz. baby boy born May 2nd in Vernal. Grandma Margaret Taylor Tay-lor was there with them to help Sandi care for the new baby for awhile. Woodrow Halsey is in the West Millard Hospital. We hope he is soon better and home. Howard Bliss of Price, Clark's brother, came down to the Alumni Banquet in Hinckley and visited relatives here. He called on Clark and Reva Sunday, then returned to Price. Our granddaughter, Geniel Brush and husband Bryan were here from Las Vegas for Nancy and Bryce Brush's wedding. The Chester Corbetts and Almon Fullmer, Jr. and family visited us on Mother's Day. Our little granddaughter, Debbie says it's "Kitten Time Again", four baby kittens cute as can be. The Frank Tennents of Tooele came down Saturday.
