They will attend a convention there. They will stay at the famous Conrad Con-rad Hilton Hotel and return to Utah Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson and son, Keith, of the BYU went to Holden Saturday and visited with their daughter, Arlene Christensen and family. Alpha Nielson left Saturday for San Francisco, Calif, where she will visit her children, Kathlynn and Steve Flick for a couple of weeks. Margie 'Greathouse spent the fiw mm weekend in Salt Lake visiting friends. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Overson is their daughter, dau-ghter, Dian Durant and children of Northern Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson visited friends and relatives in Oak City Sunday. At the home of Lucille Nielson over the weekend was her daughter, daugh-ter, Karen, and husband, Tony Mork. Mr. and Ms. Lowell Wilkins spent the weekend in Salt Lake with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wilkins and Linda and Dan Sutton. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bradfield and Carol went to Farmington Saturday and stayed over night with Don and family. Jay and family of Grantsville and Rayma and Kent Hughes of Salt Lake also visited at Don's Saturday night. Deon McCann of Leamington visited with Carol Denetsosie Sunday Sun-day afternoon and went to church in Lynndyl. The program in church Sunday night was furnished by High Councilman Coun-cilman Walter Ekins of Hinckley. With him were his wife, son, Eldon and his girl friend, Deon Talbot. Talks were given by Mr. Ekins and his son and Mrs. Ekins played an organ selection. Miss Soutas said she plans to issue invitations to her fellow Miss America contestants during the Utah Travel Council's current "Invite a Friend to Utah" campaign. CIVS VZXKZ DAVIS Ross Jensen is working in Bountiful Bounti-ful with his brother-in-law, Val Sorenson and likes it fine. He has been there three weeks now. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Stone and two little boys of Midvale visited with their mother, Elva Stone then Sunday Sun-day Mr. and Mrs. Derral Wright and family had them all to dinner, making a family reunion for Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stone and small baby-daughter, baby-daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Stone and family and Mr. and Mrs. Derral Wright and family. Mr. and Mrs. Frelen Shurtz made a trip to Provo Saturday for a visit with their mother Malinda Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Greene of Jerome, Ida. have returned to work here this summer. They are staying with their mother, Lois Greene until they get located. Tressa Jenson had a quilting Wednesday. Those attending Stella Shurtz, Ireta Shurtz, Yvonne Shurtz, Ruth Losee. Roxie Losee, Henrietta Barben Marie Barben, Jacoas Shields, Norma Poulsen, Doris Abbott, Ab-bott, Gerry Hill, Venice Davis and Tressa Jenson. Mr. and Mrs. Bud West of Salt Lake visited over the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Hill. Mrs. Wilma Boshard visited her daughter, Lois Hinckley and June on her way to Salt Lake for a vis't. She will return to stay here for the summer. Wheat, Feed Grain Programs Show Gain Over 1967 The Wheat and Feed Grain Program Pro-gram sign-up now completed for 1968 shows a substantial gain over the sign-up in 1967. According to Gene eA. Walker, Chairman of the Millard County ASC Committee, the number participating in the Feed Grain Program is 218. Those participating par-ticipating in the Wheat Program number 419. The next step in the program to be completed by these producers is to certify their compliance com-pliance with the intentions that they have signed up to complete. June 20th is the deadline for making this certification. There is available at the county office, personnel per-sonnel who will furnish Measurement Measure-ment Service in order that exact acreages can be reported. Program regulations require that 25 percent of the farms reporting compliance be spot checked. Therefore, it is important that correct acreages are obtained where not known. Mrs. Suzie Sampson is back in her home In Delta after spending the winter in Salt Lake with her children. Visiting with Betty Beaulieu and boys were her daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Bud Day and K:pp of Cedar. Carl Willden, Neii Callister. Zane Bennett were home from college over the weekend and attended the farewell for one of their friends in Sutherland Sunday evening. Bob Owens leaves for his mission Monday Mon-day April 8th. The Junior Prom was a lovely affair. The Juniors all in the lovely evening wear ond the hall beautifully beauti-fully decorated. A largo crowd attended. at-tended. Mr. and Mrs. Wes Dutson came to Delta Friday. They left their two little girls with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ross, then went on to Lake Powell to do some fishing and water skiing. Hope it's warmer there than here. Mrs. Ila Forster returned to her home Sunday after a week's visit with her children. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carter and girls visited with their family Tuesday Tues-day and Wednesday. Mrs. Eva Wilkins is back in Delta after spending the winter in Salt Lake. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lathel Callister and to visit with their brother, Kent, were Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Callister and son, Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Callister and sons, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Mark Bybee and children, Panguitch; Mrs. Douglas (Joan) Miles and son, Altamont; Jerry Callister of BYU and Neil of CSU. Visiting this week is a friend of Kent's, Miss Sue Northrop, BYU student, whose home is Tacoma, Wash.
