Johnson Satur-dav, Satur-dav, March 16, between the hours of 8:00 and 10:30 p.m. The now Mrs. Johnson Is the former for-mer Leslie Diehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Damron of Hinckley. Mr. Johnson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Johnson of Sutherland. A program will be presented at 10:00 p.m. Oman $ & - MGS TERRI PORTER WON THE PIANO PRACTICE CONTEST Tcrri Porter, plnno student of Mrs. Verdella S. Adams, won the February practice contest with a total of 17 hours and 10 minutes. Second place honors went to Paul Mork with 16 hours practice. Kathy Jvie und Janice Porter tied for third place with 12 hours. Lynnette Grlmshaw practiced 11 hours and 40 minutes to capture fourth place. Fifteen members and one guest were present. Mrs. Chlora Twitchell, in costume, gave a clever clev-er reading about making a distinction dis-tinction between country and city elevators. Members present answered ans-wered roll call by reading clippings clip-pings of interest on a variety of subjects, many of them humorous, some of them serious. Next club meeting will be held at the home of Iva Mitchell on March 2'2nd. and since this is a no-hostess meeting for entertainment, entertain-ment, members are urged to bring each a sandwich or enough of whatever they bring to serve all present. Meeting will begin at 2:30 promptly. CARD PARTY The Jolly Stitcher's Card Party for March will be held at the Hall on March 23 1968. Hostesses will be Pearl Terrell, Norma Jensen and Zelda Ogelen. Engayement Mr. andd Mrs. Harold H. Kendall Ken-dall of Provo announce the engagement en-gagement of their daughter, Carolyn, to Lane Losee. Mr. Losee is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Losee of Sugarville. Miss Kendall is a graduate of Provo High School where she was active in the Decca Club. She has completed business classes at the Utah Technical College, Provo. Mr. Losee is a graduate of Delta High School and nas attended Brigham Young University. He has served two years in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of Viet Nam. The wedding has been tentatively tenta-tively set for April 12, 1969.
