Show i H inckley ELAINE HARDY The Doug Spencer family returned return-ed home Monday from a visit to Calif. The Ward Petersens drove to Salt Lake Saturday. Julie Nickle and JpveitJ KRAFT Macaroni and Cheese Dinners make quick school lunches! Dixie Merrill accompanied them. They and Jody were on Jr. Prom business. David Petersen, U. of U. student, has been home with his family dur ing their spring vacation. Shirley and Larry Clark of Salt Lake visited last weekend at the home of the Clen Tavlors. M.rs. Gar Stewart had her son, Reed, and his two boys, from Magna Mag-na to see her last week. Mr. and Mis. Ken Damron went to Salt Lake Thursday morning for a few days to see their daughters. Ron Shunnvay went to N'eveda Thursday to work. He returned home for the weekend and then went bnck to Nevada to work. Our Relief Society Annual Party was held Friday evening. A history of the Relief Society was given and a skit was presented. Those taking part in the skit were, Mrs. Natalie Bennett, Mk-s. Bonnie Manis, Mrs. NoRae Petersen, with Mrs. Dorothy Spencer as the reader. Two musical musi-cal numbers were presented, a double male quartet and a double mixed quartet. A delicious supper was served in the Relief Society room. A very enjoyable time was had by the crowd that attended. Karl and Arvilla Workman return. ed home Sunday after a three-day visit ao Payson, Arizona with Shirley Shir-ley and Francis Mullett and family. Mrs. Harriet Spendlove and two girls, Mary and Elaine, visited a few days. They attended the ward sandhill party. Harriet attended the annual party Friday. They re- Urned home Sunday. I Mr. and Mrs. John Crafts of Las, Vegas visited a few days with relatives, rela-tives, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crafts and Mr. and Mrs. Zane Crafts and daughter. Vera and Heber Bishop have returned re-turned home after staying the past few months with their children in Calif. They visited with their son, Lprs at Payson and he and his ily. Dana and Angie send greetings to their friends here. Leslie Diehl was home over the Easter weekend with her parents, the Ken Damrons. Mayne (Boone) Bishop of Salt Lake writes that he enjoys rending rend-ing the Chronicle and likes to hear the news of nil his friends in Hinckley. Also at the Walter Ekins j home have been ElDean and Duane Ekins and son of Tooele. They also visited with the Floyd Greeners. Carmen and Melvin Hepworth of Cedar visited in Hinckley. Members of the Hinckley Ward Bishopric, Bishop Leonard and Ber-nice Ber-nice Palmer, Bonnie and Walter Manis, and NaRae and Ward Peter sen went to the Manti Temple to attend a meeting for ward bishoprics bishop-rics and stake presidencies of fifteen fif-teen stakes. At this meeting they met with Spencer W. Kimball. Mrs. Steven (Doreen) Talbot and her three children spent from Monday Mon-day until Friday with Lynn and Reva Talbot. They returned home to Las Veens. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Taylor and children spent part of this week at Mrs. Reva Taylors. Visiting at the home of Carl and Valyn Dutson from Thursday until Saturday was Miss VeAnn Draper, who teaches school at Kearns. Donna Warnick of Las Vegas spent last week visiting her folks in Hinckley. Wednesday the Waldo Warnicks took her to Provo.. They brought Marvin and Grace Smith's daughters, Marie and Lynn back with them. Sunday Marvin and Grace and son Cameron came and took them home. Willard and Bessie Hardy of Span ish Fork visited friends and rela tives during the weekend. They at tended the Relief Society party. Many ward members, former ward members, friends and relat Ives enjoyed Easter celebration Sat urday. The Easter egg hunt for all children on the church grounds and the sand hill party following. A group went to the Manti Tem ple Friday with David Corey, prior to him leaving for a South British Mission. Those who went were: David's mother, Mrs; LaFay Corey, his brother and wife, Ralph and Joyce Gronning of Salina, his sister and her husband, Margo and Lee Snowden of Las Vegas, Bishop and Mrs. Leonard Palmer, Mrs. Anna Lee Hepworth, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Swensen, Mrs. Janeve Champman. At his parents home now, on leave fcom the service, is Dick Mec ham. Another son of the Ken Mec hams was Ron and his wife Cheryl and their children of Orem. They along with other family members, met at the home of Maylon and La Dawn Erickson in Delta for a f am-1 ily dinner. Others present were Keith and Betty Corry and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ivo Ogden, Beth and Carlos Anderson. After dinner they all went to the sandhills to have an Easter outing. Mrs. Delia (Blake) Hatton and g'rls of Toeele visited this week with relatives. The Sheldon Western family spent Easter at St. George at the home of Bert and Pat Leany. They also visited Mrs. Lielwen Shumway and Dana and Angie Pratt and fam many he knew here years ago. He reports that his family is all well, that Maughn's wife is improved. At Golda Talbots this weekend have been Mr. and Mrs. James (Ce-lia (Ce-lia Talbot) Payne and children. Mae and Garold Damron and Edith and Kent Schlappi and families fam-ilies of Salt Lake spent the weekend week-end with their parents, The Lowell Petersons. They came especeially to see their mother since she broke two ribs in a fall from a tractor. Ken Damron is now home after home for c few days after being at the home of her son Ross and wife, Valeria in Provo. Fannie Lee has been helping in the home since Valeria's back operation, which will keep her down for about six weeks. FiMinie Lee returned to stay in Provo for some time. They visited here for a short time and then had to return to their home at Placentia, Calif., as both were soloists in the Easter Cantata in their ward Sunday. Flopd Greener has been ill with the flu for a week. Congratulations to the Hinckley Bantam Basketball team and Coach Jim Christensen for taking third place. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Judd and children of Kecrnev, Ariz, are visit- A party was held at the homo of Linda Jo Diehl Saturday evening to honor David Corey, who left for the mission home Monday. He will go into the Prilish mission. Bryan Petersen, who teaches school in Grant sville, was home this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dennison have received the announcement of the fourth child for their son Orthello and his wife Shyrleen aat San Jose, the newly adopted daughter will be named Julie. The Dennisons spent the weekend visiting their children in Salt Lake. They attended the Park Stake Gold and Green Ball, which their son Harold and their daughter, Theo, belong to. Edith was able to dance several dances since she has improved im-proved so much since her two oper ations and she said it was just wonderful to be out and especially to be able to dance. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Skeem and four children from Draper spent the Easter weekend at Alice Bliss's and Calvin's parents in Oasis. At the Ray Brown home for the holiday weekend were Ray's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Voor heis and three children of Spring-ville. Spring-ville. Also Lee and Verda Steffens of Murray. Marcia Talbot took part in the piano recital Friday evening at the high school presented by students of Mrs. Glena Moody. Ruth and Cluff Talbot were in Salt Lake Friday on business. Fern and Arlyn Crafts of Salt Lake spent the weekend with Ralph Crafts family. Visiting at the homes of Mrs. Alice Bliss and Dale Bliss for several sev-eral days are Dennis and Pat Cox of Calif. Mrs. Fannie Lee Hilton returned with headguarters at Toronto, On tario, Canada. She reports Vilate is doing very well and that she sends greetings to all her friends at home. Mark Petersen, son of Jim and Thora, broke his arm when he fell as he was dismounting a horse at Deseret. Sharon and David Buchanan and baby drove to Hinckley Friday nite. Thoy and Terri and Bobby Mein-hrrrit, Mein-hrrrit, who have been with the Grant Hnrriys for a week,, returned to Salt Lake Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hardy and two children, Greg and Ann of Draper Dra-per were here for Easter weekend. A printed ward bulletin is now being distributed in our ward which is very helpful and informative. Mrs Sharon Western is in charge of its publication.
