She was a sister-in-law of Fannie Lee's. Jim and lone Christensen also drove up to attend the services. Fannie Lee returned home with them. Jay Wright's Sunday School class enjoyed a skating party at the Hinckley Skating Rink Saturday evening, after which they had a treat of refreshments. Hon and Erma Cropper are spend ing a few days with Darrel and Ann and girls in Nevada. Mrs. Beryl Hardy accompanied Elaine Hardy to Holden Tuesday. She visited with her parents, the Clyde Woods. Carl and LaVerne Theobald returned re-turned home from a trip to Calif, and Nev. last week whert they visited vis-ited with the children. Goldie and Carol and family at Las Vegas; Mer lin and Beulah and family at Full-erton, Full-erton, Calif.; Shirley and Vemie at Ncrthridge, Calif. They left Monday and returned Sunday. They have been on to Provo to receive some medical care. Weekend visitors at the Alton Theobald home were Ed and Eddie Theobald of Salt Lake; also, Tom Karen and their little girls, Shonna and Deann Theobald of Salt Lake. Guests at the Sheldon Western home Sunday for. dinner were Mr. Owen Holt of Delta, and Mrs. Clara Stewart. Teresa Meinhardt returned to her home in Salt Lake with Sharon and family after having spent the past week in Hinckley with the Grant Hardys. The Buchanans were here over the weekend. Sharilynn also returned to Salt Lake with them. She came home Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Morris left Friday for Cedar City to spend a few days with their daughter and family, Carolyn, Waldo, Sandra & Allan Warnick. Dale Bishop, his wife Sue, and baby returned to their home in 1-daho 1-daho Falls, Idaho, after spending last weekend here visiting Dale's parents, the Gordon Bishops. John Bishop, Dale's brother, accompanied accompan-ied them. He is living with them in Idaho this year. Dale works for the Atomic Energy Commission. Lynn and Reva Talbot spent Sun day in Meadow to see relatives Reva's mother, Mrs. Lula Gull; her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bird. They celebrated Mrs. Gull's birthday with a dinner. Mrs. Emma Lea Taylor and two children have returned home to Cedar City, after spending the past week here with her mother, Mrs. Reva Taylor. Mrrk Craft, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crtft, was home over the weekend with his parents. Mark is attending school at Logan. Mrs. Golda Talbot and Mrs. Carol Bishop drove to Milford Sunday to see Carol's daughter Gwen Rogers and family. Linda and Jay Riding were in Hinckley last week from Grants-ville Grants-ville to see Linda's mother, Mrs. Golda Talbot. David Corey and Barry Bishop were home with their folks from school over the weekend. It was good to see Velma and Jane Talbot out Sunday, after the family has been gone for a month. Mr. andMrs. Eugene Bishop, Art, and Stanley drove to McGill to visit the Loren Jacksons. They also visit ed with Louise Stevens and children and Kitty Ireland. Mr .and Mrs. Dale Bishop and Carol Bishop drove to Provo Friday to get a car. Don A. Bishop is at home after being up north with relatives. Hinckley Cub Scouts Pack joined other Cub Scouts at the Stake House Satuiday night. Dana Bishop and Thora Petersen are retiring den mothers in Hinckley. To replace re-place them are Dorothello Spencer and Carol Bishop. Dwight Alldredge camee to Hinck ley to get Claire and both drove back to Colorado where Dwight is in the Army. High Councilmtn Rulon Callister was a visitor to Hinckley Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ivo Ogden received a call from their son Roger who is stationed at Fort Huachuca in Ariz. He has three more weeks there and then will go overseas. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Rose and Carol Lyman wen to Oasis Ward Sunday with High Councilman Reid Tippetts and his wife. Mrs. Pamela Robison Hamblin is teaching a half day in Ariz. She lives close to her husband's sister so that she has someone to care for her baby while she teaches. Mr. and Mrs. Thurmon Moody and family visited their father and grandfather, Mr. Leslie Pace Sunday Sun-day and surprised him with a birth day cake made by his granddaughter granddaugh-ter Laura. Last Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Will Bunker made a trip to Cedar to visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Beagley. Mr. Bunker con firmed his little grandson while there. Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Laura) Thomas Tho-mas were here to spend the weekend week-end with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Thurmon Moody. The Thomas' are still at school at Ephriam. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Clayton and little daughter, Penny Jo, spent the weekend in Sutherland with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clayton and in Deseret with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Van Warnick. Mrs. Clayton Clay-ton and Penny were here two week ago and spent several days with her mother, Mrs. Warnick, They are attending school at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Auer Jensen were here to bring their mother, Mrs. Wind back for a short stay. Valentine Day decorations were used in the table decorations. Valentine Party Honors Wives The Kiwanis of Dolta-West Millard Mill-ard entertained their wives at a Valentine Party last Thursday even ing at Hatch's City Cafe. In charge of the arrangements were Mr. nnd Mrs. Leo Burraston, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sperry and Pres. and Mrs. Iigh R. Maxfield. Mr. Kay Bassett, DHS band instructor, in-structor, brought several band students stu-dents who presented special num-br num-br .-s. Students participating were Dennis Den-nis Alldredge, tuba solo accompanied accompan-ied by Carolyn Nickle;Butch Mills. Craig Talbot, Mark Steele, trumpet trio and duet accompanied by Mr. Bassett; Caroyln Nickle, clarinet solo accompanied by Doris Moody and a flute quartette consisting of Peggy Lovell, Patrice Bishop, San-die San-die Benson and Ruthanna Morris. Adding to the musical numbers were comments on the various instruments in-struments by Mr. Bassett. All numbers num-bers were appreciated and enjoyed by the Kiwanis and their wives. President Maxfield urged all present pre-sent to give greater support to the band. Highlighting the evening was the presentation of Valentines from the ladies to their husbands. Many cleverly worded verses, all original, were read aloud by the Kiwanis members. Each lady was presented with a box of chocolates. SYLVIA F1NLINSON Oak City Girl Reveals Troth Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Finlinson, Oak City, announce the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Sylvia, to Dennis L. Brodrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cloy L, Brodrick, Tooele formerly of Delta. Sylvia is a graduate of Delta High School and has attended BYU. She is presently attending Hollywood Beauty College in Provo. Dennis also graduated from Delta High School and attended Steven's Henager College. He is now serving with the United States Navy, stationed at Port Hueneme, California.
