OUR LITERATOR- Another year has passed which brings to mind the question: "What have you done worthwhile this past year?" If yon are like me the answer ans-wer probably is: "Not much." Have you taken life serious.y and contributed . anything worthwhile to anyone else? Have you made any great self-improvement? Cf not, what are you going to do about it? Think seriously and decide de-cide what you want out of life. After the decision is made go forward for-ward with determination and success suc-cess is certain to be yours. This question of setting goals is an earnest one. Everything accomplished ac-complished is accomplished because, be-cause, someone set a goal and had enough drive to carry it out. All great men have had goals to which they have devoted their lives. George Washington had the goal of a free country to work toward. Abraham Lincoln had the goal of freeing a race. Walter Reed's goal was to conquer a disease, malaria. American Astronauts like John Glen's goal is to conquer space. The Olympic star knows he wants that medal and works energetically for it. As a new year begins, let's evaluate eval-uate our lives, set our goals, what-ever what-ever they may be, and work to carry them out.
