Mr. and Mrs. David Jacobs returned re-turned to their home in Torrence, Calif, last week after spending 3 weeks in Delta and Ogden. Fred spent the weekend with us. Mr, and Mrs. Floyd Hardy and family were in Fillmore last Thursday Thurs-day night for dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Crapo. They also attended the wrestling meet where Craig Hardy and Loy Crapo took part. Mrs. Clifford Merrill and five children were in Provo Saturday for appointments wi.h their eye doctor. doct-or. They brot their daughter, Lexi-ane Lexi-ane and two of her room mates, Hone and Dorene Crandell of Boise, "daho home for the weekend. These three girls are going to school at the BYU. Mrs. Emily Bunker spenr the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Stan-ford Brown and family. She came from Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peterson. The Petersons vi-s'ted vi-s'ted in Oak City with Walter's mother. ....Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Crapo and son Loy spent Sunday afternoon visiting with Mrs. Blanche Works and other members of the family. Visitors Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Sper fy were their daughter, Mrs. Jack Westerman and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Swede Maggard and Mrs. Elea nor Force from Salt Lake City. They were on their way to Cedar City to attend a funeral for a relative. rela-tive. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Sear'e and two small daugh ers of Bount'ful and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley (Colone) Layton of Canterville spent Sunday in Delta with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Searie and were here to attend Sacrament mee:ing where Mr. and Mrs. Steve Searie had their young son named. Also attending meeting meet-ing were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Talbot of Hinckley. Great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Searie and Mrs. Lulu Gull. Other members from Meadow were Mrs, Roma Bennett and her daughter Ferris Bennett. Home from school this last week end were Jerry Huff. Larry Odean, Dewaine Jackson, Delene Ashby, Stanley Robison, Michael Bunker, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hawley. Mrs. Norma Wright was in Salt Lake last week where she visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cropper and Dr. and Mrs. Wallace Wright. She reports the Wrirghts are feeling feel-ing pretty good. We axe always happy to hear from Dr. Wallace and Afton Wright. They were our neighbors. I sure hope Boh and Inei don't send any of us out to get news like the reporter Jim Bishop had to go on In the Sunday paper of Jan. 26th. I don't think I would be that good or need a job that bad. You should read it. We were in Salt Lake last Tuesday Tues-day and Wednesday and spent Tuesday night with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Webb and family in Lay-ton Lay-ton and Wednesday we visited with Mr. and Mrs. LaVerl Jackson and family. j Ronald Webb and daughter, Ron-da Ron-da spent Sunday and Monday with his father, Leslie Webb. They stopped stop-ped to say "hello" to us on their way home Monday. j Mr. and Mrs. Wells Kenney of Holden were in Delta Monday. Mr. Arch Poulsen of Sugarville s improving but would enjoy visits from friends. Its a hard thing for an active man to be laid up so long. The Poulsens celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Wednesday. Floyd Tolbert and wife Cleone went to Tempe, Ariz, for a month unlil they feel better. Floyd had to go into the hospital for a few days to rest and be checked. Afton Petersen and family are go ing to jo'n Earl in Arizona Monday. ' He is working there. Arnold Peter-' Peter-' sen is also going down there to work. Erma and Clifferd Petersen and Charieen are here from Salt Lake over the weekend. Mrs. Dorothy Shields and baby are here from Salt Lake. Her baby was named Kelli Kristeen in church Sunday by her grandfather, Sherman Sher-man Tolbert. Mrs. Emily Young has had a bad cold but is feeling better. Really, I think there has been very little sickness around this winter. Clark and Reva Bliss went to the UB Dam Sunday and report there is not much water in it. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Sampson (Jackie (Jac-kie Corbett) of Las Vegas and baby Robert Wesley are visiting in Delta for the weekend. The David Poulsen family (Kathleen (Kath-leen Fullmer) are visiting the Arch Poulsens and John Fullmers Sunday. Sun-day. They live in snowy Tooele. We were sad to hear of LaRell Draper being killed by a train-car wreck. I can't see how any of the Theobald children got out alive, after seeing the car "Please, everyone, every-one, be more careful!" Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peterson and family of Salt Lake came over the weekend to help celebrate her birthday. Miss Claudia Jacobson is home for a while. She had surgery at the Cottonwood Hospital.
