Mr. and Mrs. Reno Ahlstrom and children of McGill, Nevada, visited with the Bert Johnson family and Doyle Steele family. ' . Mrs. Lena Steele returned from a week in Los Angeles visiting with her daughter, Earlene and family and Sherrie. Mr. and Mrs. Brose Roberts went to Logan Saturday to take a load of things for Mr. and Mrs. Barry Roberts, then back to Salt Lake to stay all night and put Karen on the plane for Detroit, Mich., where she will attend school for two 'months. Karen called Sunday night to say she had arrived safely. Dana Kay Ogden and friend of Provo visited Mr. and Mrs.. Ivo Ogden Og-den and Roger Sunday. . Kathy Johnson and Kent Freeman Free-man visited the Bishop Johnson family. fa-mily. ' Mr. and Mrs. Preston Hubbs of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Bales of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. George Grandy and small son of Provo returned to their home after the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Helen Corry. A short letter from Bryant Larson Lar-son in Mesa, Ariz., said that Cora was in the hospital with an infection infec-tion in her hip. We surely hope her recovery isn't long. Since a fall last summer Mrs. Larson has had quite a time with a ibroken hip We all think of Mr. and Mrs. Larson and miss them when they aren't here. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Moody returned re-turned home from California. While there Mr, Moody had the privilege of naming the new baby daughter of his daughter, Veriyn. They named nam-ed her Phyllis Ann. Congratulations to Veriyn and husband. This is ineir nrsi cnua. Karen Moody spent the Christmas Christ-mas holidays in Denver with the Dave Calvert family. All the students have returned to their various schools after being be-ing home for the holidays. Mr and Mrs. Ell Fowles spent New Year's in Salt Lake with their children. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Holman returned home after spending Christmas in California. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Walker had their daughter Linda home for most of the holidays and also their daughter Venna, husband and baby ba-by part of the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Milo Mortensen had the Mike Warnick family of Richfield Rich-field and their son Kenney home for the holidays. j Bishop and Mrs. Max Johnson and family went to Twin Falls, Idaho and visited with friends. Then back to Brigham City where they visited Ralph Goodman, then to Ogden to visit with Delia's sister sis-ter Ruth and family. The Harold Petersens visited at Christmas time in Spring City with Rae's sister and family. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Porter and family visited with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter and brothers and s'sters, the Frank Lymans, the Jack Fowles, Kenneth and Jim Porter Por-ter families. ' Mr. and Mrs. Scott Christensen and family of Salt Lake visited the Cleo and Derrell Christensen families. fam-ilies. Visiting at the Cutler Henrie home were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Dal-ton Dal-ton and two sons of Circleville, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Henrie and two sons of Bountiful and Barbara Moss. Becky Henrie spent a few days in Circleville with her sister Ann and family. Paul Johnson spent the holidays home with his family, the Lester Johnsons. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Johnson of Fillmore visited here during the holidays. Also, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson and family went to Fillmore Fill-more for New Year's dinner and helped Merrill celebrate his ibirth-day. ibirth-day. At this writing Peter Johnson is confined in the hospital. We all wish him a speedy recovery. Eugene's brother Mountain Range and only about Harvey and sisters, Muriel and half of normal in the area near Hoeizle drove to Salt Lake to see their friend, Mrs. Lucille Hansen who is very ill in the St. Marks Hospital. The Hansens were near ne'ghbors when the Schenas lived in Mammoth. The Hoeizle boys Ne-no Ne-no and Joe stayed in Vernon to their aunt Angie Atherly's while their folks were in Salt Lake. Karl and Eleanor Murray spent the holidays in Salt Lake with Joan and Chuck Sledge and the Darrel Fowles family. Floyd and Cleone Tolbert went to Tempe, Arizona to see their son Sherrl and wife. I sure hope everyone signed the Road Petition. We sure need the graveled road between here and Sutherland oiled. We enjoyed the visit Thursday evening with the Sutherland Ward Bishopric, Gene Owens and Kenneth Ken-neth Porter. Our old neighbors and former Abraham Ward members, Ted and Edith Dennison now living in Hinc-1 kley, visited with us Thursday ev- ening. Their health has improved considerably since we last saw them. Clark and Reva Bliss had as their guests New Year's, Bill Bliss and wife of Dragefton and Saturday, Clark's brother, Ferron and three children of Spanish Fork. We were indeed sorry to hear of Mrs. Mary Taylor's illness and hope and pray she wil soon be better. Mary grew her famiy up here in Abraham then moved to Hinckley after her husband Will Taylor died. Edgar and Margaret Taylor have been enjoying themselves tending son Myron's two childden during the holidays. Myron and wife live In Orem and Myron is attending Trade Tech in Provo. Tracy Fullmer has returned to school in Provo after being home for the holidays. Mr. Evan Riding of Salt Lake visited his sister, Mrs. iLuena Fullmer Full-mer Saturday. I'm sure every member had a feeling of satisfaction after it was over. The visiting speakers were all very well qualified in their fields. All gave very good talks, as did all the ones called on unexpectedly. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ludwig and family vacationed in California during the holidays and visited Marineland. Miss Karen Pearson came hwo from California to spend the Ntw Year holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Pearson. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ross are proud of another grandchild, a son, born to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Christensen had weekend visitors: James E. Faust stayed over night.
