LAURA BRAD FIELD Sunday, I, Lawrence and Don met the train in Delta and got Margaret Bradfield. She had been vacationing in Nevada. Then we vis ted with Jane Williams. Jane took her to Leamington. We also visited wdth Jane Williams. Jane spent Christmas in Fillmore with Leona. . "Never a New Year morning, never an old year ends, unless we think of someone, old days, old times, old friends". 1963 has been a wonderful year for most people. Yet, like all years, it brot both sadness and gladness to all. It has been a good year far crops, lots of alfalfa and seed was raised. The frost held off real late, so we could harvest all our vegetables from our gardens and enjoy the beautiful flowers clear till October. We haven't had any real bad sickness In our community. Roy Nielson is improving . from his sick spell in '62. Also, Keith Overson has regained re-gained a lot of use of his arm from the severe accident he was in at the rock quarry in '62. Bishop Phil Nielson 'lost part of two fingers in the corn chopper, which was pain ful, but it could have been much I worse. Dale Tolbert suffered a heart attack in June and was hospitalized hos-pitalized and off work for several months, but his health is improved now until he is back' to work a-gain, a-gain, feeling fine. Millard Hospital Mrs. Lula Bishop Cropper, 87, of Hinckley died Saturday in the West M Hard Hospital of causes incident in-cident to age. Mrs. Cropper is a member of one of the older pioneer pio-neer families of Deseret where she was born to Mahonri M. and Mary Gibbs Bishop Aug. 22, 1876. She was married to Leigh Richmond Rich-mond Cropper Nov. 20, 1893 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died in February 1950.
